What the.. 3 devices with the SD625? Are they trying to poison themselves? And I bet the X is going to be similarly priced compared to the Z Play (minus 50 or 100$ max)

The back is a step-back compared to the Moto G5, which did not require the iPhone/HTC-like antenna lines. Shame it's not a logical upgrade of the Moto X Pure from 2015. Glad to finally have some level of confirmation that they are working on a new X, hopefully the specs will be better than rumored.

But I really don't care what it looks like. Too many kids here screaming UGLY UGLY UGLY like they plan to marry their phone and make love to it. They are PHONES. If you are an employer or HR hiring employees, you hire people to work hard and do it well. Nokia 3310 is heralded as one of the best ever because IT GOT THE JOB DONE. No frills. Just worked and did it well.
The Moto I am waiting for is the update to the Moto Z. I want it to have a much better camera. I do dig the Moto Mods and would love to get the mod that gives the Z or Z Play 10x optical zoom. They need to upgrade the camera first. I like some of the innovative ideas coming out of Motorola. They corrected what LG did wrong with modular design.

While it doesn't look like complete aids, the back could look better. Plus fingerprint sensor in dimple and dual front facing speakers......c'mon Moto.

Wrong! The Moto X should be a flagship!! Think about it, a nice metal trim, customisable back plate, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, front-firing stereo speakers, and a decently small footprint. Is that too much to ask for, Moto?

This definitely looks better than g5+, bezels are much more tolerable and they actually used the bezel to add front flash. But moto is becoming next Samsung where they will put it it? In 19999/21999. I think there will be no moto z play this year, so price might be higher.
