Good! The Pixel's really set the benchmarks for photography. Superb camera software+hardware can beat dual camera's which could be gimmicky/ confusing/ expensive/ not optimised. I just hope the next Pixel won't ditch the headphone jack & will probably also have a MicroSD card slot (although I know that won't happen).

HTC is one of the best phone manufacture. I know they have a hard time but they brought the first android phone. And Samsung and iPhone all of their design and inspiration is from HTC. When HTC made stereo speakers dual 3D cameras, waterproof phones, "Huawei" was building air conditioners. If you don't like the HTC then you are new in this business. We need to thank HTC for they contribution in the smartphone era.

I have a Pixel and think it's great. I've owned an array of Androids and iPhones. The Pixel is far and away the best combination of hardware and software I've ever used on the Andoird platform. Plus, the camera is fantastic. I've paired it head to head against my girlfriend's iPhone 7 and it shoots better every time.

Lg HTC SHARP and others big players have the technology to meet Google Pixel requests . The point is to stay under 5,5 inch more to 5,2 inch. Google want to have more suppliers and rotate them every year which is good strategy .
But because of the shortage with first pixel will be better for all that Google. Will have not one but two manufacturer for different markets . Lg for US / HTC for others ....
