Yes. Cannot register a print anymore. Nexus 6p. Google suggests warranty replacement. :(

I even find my windows 10 laptop to be annoying asking for update too frequently. How can pixel user live with too many updates and on top of that it is not even guaranteed to be stable. You just ended up being more frustated with it.

And people blame other manufacturers to not update their devices as fast as possible ? After Kitkat, all newer versions are troublesome (i read articles and users comments before updating my sets).

my wife her nexus 6p did go in a failure, first with not connecting to providers network, secondly not gettiing into the LTE mode and synchronized with that last the fingerprint lock went down. looks like The imprint and LTE (not connect) are having diffulcuties since the latest update. my nexus6p had no problems with it.
I do remember such kind of errors with the LTEband with updates on my former N4, but I don't remember what android version that was.

So far, this update has worked just fine on my Nexus 6p for me. I did have to wait a bit though for the OTA to get pushed as I couldn't manually update it with the OTA file failing several times. Went from beta to this and its been a pretty smooth experience so far. No issues with mine.

You did not share a link to the Google pixel Community posting period I may have info that could be relevant. I was beta testing Android 7.1.2 on my Nexus 5X then I eventually did a factory reset to Android 7.1 .1 and my fingerprint sensor broke at that point

The Nexus 6P was the last straw with me & Google, after it kept shutting down when the battery got to around 10 to 15%, I got rid of it once it was fixed as i knew the problem was show it head again in the future, & reluctantly moved over to Apple something i never thought I would do.
The Nexus 5 will go down in my book as the best phone released by google, never had one single problem with either the hardware or the software in all the time i had it which was over 2 years.
It seems to me with ever new release of Android comes a new set of problems that take Google an age to fix or ignore completely.

Something is always breaking with each update. I've reset my phone and stored updating my phone now. Definitely not buying the next Google Pixel... Frequent updates suck.

I have both Nexus 5x and 6p and scanner works fine after this update.

So, this is what the highly praised so-called 'optimized' clean stock android update is like. Stop worshipping this stupid rushed update by Pixel or Nexus. Nothing good ever come out of it.

I have mine an XL since 2 weeks, have done the update and only problem i have seems with the camera its longer to focus correctly as i scan many barcodes with my phone.

Upda... moreWell it is smart as the first buids of integral update (here 7.1.2) have usually some bugs and waiting for google to iron those bugs before updating is good and smart, especially if the current version works for you. Oh and google is rushing those updates because people will begin to criticize them if they aren't as fast as they want aka super duper fast with updates, so they don't have time to improve on the update. And if they wait and take their time, people will criticize them for being too slow with updates. So what can google do here? There is critizizsisme on both sides, but anyway i think google got used to it as there will always be people who hate the update or have issues amd bugs with it.

I have had no problems with any including the latest update. Very good battery life and finger print function with my Nexus 6P 64gb. I never have to turn it off.
