Android 7.1.2 breaks fingerprint on some Pixel and Nexus devices

Google has another issue on its hands with the latest Android 7.2.1 update for a small number of Nexus and Pixel owners.

So much for timely UPDATES.. I'd rather have late but fully tested update rather than a fast update that breaks my phone.. Better yet, no need to update at all.. Just use the phone and when the time comes change to a new one.. Updates are useful only when the current version has problems.. If the current version is running great then don't bother yourself with updates
