I'm a Sony fan, but I ain't shit about benchmarks - I care for real life performance, and that's where Sony always comes out of top.
Sony has the best Android software in the world. How do I prove it?
-Sony Mobile Communications gave 30 feature enhancements and 250 bug fixes on Android. Google O will be an audiophile-based OS with Sony's incredible audio features like LDAC, Hi-Res Audio, etc.

it is the same...within margin of error of the benchmark. even if the difference is real, no one will notice the difference in real use. this is not news, just stimulating debate between the fanboys

and it might still b faster than the s8 because it has a higher single core score... like the iphone has a better single core score and and lower multi core score than s8 and iphone is faster than s8 in loading games

Qualcomm is going to the right way, since 2015 all chipsets has overpowered CPUs, they realized that it is time to focus on power efficiency and GPUs.

Does the fact that the XZ Premium uses a 4K screen compared to S8 which does not affect the results? Also, I have long learned to take any benchmark results with a pinch of salt, as benchmark performance does not equal real life performance. I recalled when the S4 came out it top the benchmark charts too but in real life it lagged so badly then even a mid ranger from Sony was faster. In fact, despite topping the benchmarks consistently, most Samsung phones tend to slow down badly after a year or so. So if you ask me, I would rather wait till the phone comes out and see its real life performance.
