i work in a phone shop and quite honestly i hate apple phones everyday i get about 5 apple iphone 4's coming back to get replaced or repaired i have this one person who has come bak 5 times in 2 months with issues if the iphone 5 has the same issues i would prefer to go to the samsung galaxy s II as it is a powerful unit with more apps and a awsome camera plus unlike iphone u can actually access the sim card and battery and external memory who wants to get a sim replace ment every time there fone decides to wipe the software or break down its much easier and user friendly IPHONE designers need to wake up......

I'll spoil it for you; the A5 mopped the floor with Tegra2. The A5 will be on iPhone5 and it will be the most powerful dual-core in the market until the quads comes in at the end of the year.

I am using iPhone 4 with silver metal back case instead of the normal back glass case. Who cares about the iPhone 5 with metal case?

but rumored to have dual core same as latest android
rumored to have 8mp sony lense (high quality doesnt mean high mp)
rumored to have bigger scream which is already highest resolution
to me these spec seem about correct for current generations of smartphones. and apple have the best iOS.
oh and of course apple are about sales......they are a business after all
do u think sony werent thinking about the $'s when they agreed to make the camera
apple are here to make a product for us to buy

Now I'm not against Apple, I really have great expectations, but, let's be real, they are more concerned in SALES, than ADVANCES, and the are rushing in frustration trying to fill holes made by error in design and software.....Too sad, I hope they took the way, most great things cames from Apple, but I see...that's was a past history...

Anonymous, 07 Apr 2011lol, this is the worst comment everSorry for break your Apple-Fan-boy bubble, but is true...iPhone is all but TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCED, just look at the other phones specs...gooly even the Nokia N* has a better camera and Xeon Flash, Android Phones are fast as NASA Rocket and with dual-core (and quad-core on the horizon) Apple need real improvements on their products...and that is not going to happen, Jobs and their team are more greedy than ever and they don't care about people, look at the iPhone 5 speces...that's a real joke for today's high end phones...

pointless comment, 06 Apr 2011on the hardware side all companies almost use same technolo... moreAgree...But IOs is not as shinny as used to be..Now IOs have real challengers, and Android is growing more and more, I don't know if WM7 will have an opportunity, maybe the fusion between Nokia and Microsoft will give them a better opportunity to be in the game, but for now are just expectations. But Apple continues with an Closed-Mind ideology and tha't not acceptable, "pretty" hardware don't make an better phone, but, neither "pretty" software...

Does anybody know if iPhone 5 going to have some kind of home screen available with widgets. I have noticed that to be a huge gap in iOS.

Judging by the amount of "designed for Apple's iPhone 4" 3rd party larger capacity batt + add-on cases (let's not kid ourselves here;It's been like that since all the way back at the orig iPhone days...), I think the iPhone 5 would have to be designed to seriously address that particular issue.More substance to the iFad and voila your loyal users would grovel to the iAltar unconditionally.
Still..Going by my assumption that an only good iPhone is a JB'ed one it's not gonna change much I think.
