At first I didn't know if I should even post a comment, because of all the meaningless hate that's going on in here.
Let's start:

Android also tracks you and I read that so does WP7.
I installed "Location Cache" from Android Market and it was empty (didn't have wifi/cell assisted GPS enabled), others have quite some detailed info where they were in there :S
So if you don't want to be tracked do not buy iOS/Google/MS smartphone offerings.

NO! It's NOT overpriced it's just plain expensive, like any other top/flagship Android when it launches. And if you want to compare HTC Wildfire with an iPhone 4 go ahead, be my guest. :(
But overall I'm very impressed iOS has managed to hold for so long among the TOP mobile OSes. Because there are only like 5-6 active iOS products and a whole horde of manufacturers on the Android side.

I can afford any mobile, currently I have Gresso Luxor (paid 4000$) and Gresso Black Ceramic Black Carbon LE(paid 3000$) and Gresso Luxor World Time(paid 6000$), so money is not a problem for me. I HATE Apple for their limitations, that's why I don't and won't buy unless they do something about it.

Its but natural..apple will b ahead..coz its been launchd few years bfr android...so it has to b ahead....but if u see its still not tht great as mch android is takin lead in the market...
I was an ios user earlier but aftr android ..usin ios buggs me up..

The only reason why IOS has more users is b'coz Iphone 4 failed and b'coz of the antena issue, people returned their iphone 4 and got it changed from apple for a brand new iphone 4, so if for example a person has returned his or her iphone 4 nearly 3 times, it would be calculated that Iphone 4 has 4 users jus for that particullar incident, and what would not be looked into is that 1 person returned 3 phones which probably are in the labs for testing, what Steve would say is that all the 4 iphone 4 has left the store and have been sold out.
So this happened with millions of iphone 4 and thatz why Iphone 44 seems to be having a good score.

Correction:- People hate Apple since they are "overpriced".Expensive NOT EQUAL TO overpriced.You fail at consumer psychology.People will think a product is expensive and yet it'd still be on their to buy list because it's worth it.A generic Targus laptop backpack vs. Timbuk2 or Crumpler scenario.They're not gonna buy it now but maybe they'll buy it in the future when they can afford it.They see the value there.They just can't afford it right now.But when another product is deemed as "overpriced" it's because they KNOW there's better alternatives available.A good iPhone is a jailbroken one.A longtime tech observer should be familiar with the idea even if he/she aren't really doing it.Not everyone are comfy with the idea since everyone knows that Apple oppresses jailbreaking at every iOS updates.Who needs that hassle.But that same group of people might assume that if they're gonna learn about hacking/rooting their own smartphones for longevity (they can use phone X for X months/years for probably multiple versions of an OS) they might as well do that on or where it's encouraged.You figure out the rest.
And to my NA smartphone toting friends here the only reason why iOS are still holding the numbers there are simply because it's CHEAP.Outside of NA scores of companies,banks hell even retail outlets does the "monthly special" contests chock full of iPhone 4 and iPad giveaways....keyword being GIVEAWAYS.Now can anyone figure how did Apple manage to sustain the mindshare? :) Unlocked and on contract iPhones are priced too close to every top Androids so do the math.

Is it really suprising that Apple (a Californian Company, There products are designed for the American public) is popular in America? The Americans are very patriotic of course there going to buy their products.

This result is from U.S.A. only where american brand Apple rules, of course it is clearly their stronghold. In other region, it is another story. No offense for both companies. I am a user of an Apple iPhone 4 and two Android flagships.

I buy my gadgets, regardless of any price (IF it's worth the price). I hate the restrictions, iTunes, and iCrap telling it's users what they can do with their devices. Removing Flash...etc. I feel that Android Market is wonderful if not the best, and I have freedom to do whatever i want in most cases. Plus many companies offering android based phones is actually a good thing, IMO. U have many options to choose from. Anyways, that is my opinion. Peace out!
