Pointless, what LG is doing the same as HTC does with HTC 10 different variants for different regions. Trying to flood the market with basically the same phone with different price variations instead of what Huawei & Samsung does with increase RAM, internal storage & screen size.

Also, G6 is selling below 600 USD in US on many sites. BH is booking preorders for G6+LG watch for 650.. Until you are hardware freak (Who wants to buy a Pagani for grocery shopping .. al the best)

Also it's a good idea, good ideas make a return. They were removed to aid with planned obsolencesnce , so that to hurt users. Users won't take it like you for long ... Eventually they'd start demanding the feature back.
Instant recharge and infinite autonomy is basically the two things that cannot be recreated and are possibly the two things that make phones indispensable. Without them you basically have a brick for half the day (either by being left without battery or by being economical when to use your phone)
