LG will reportedly release a G6 Pro and G6 Plus in Korea

According to a report from South Korea, LG may be delving into releasing more than phone carrying its flagship branding.

They should release a variant with removable battery, this is the only case when releasing a second variant of a phone makes sense.

    Wow LG gone nuts plus is just more storage and pro is a downgrade good job LG. Plus should be just bigger in size and woth more storage and pro should have sd835 with more storage comparable to plus

      Using SD835 doesn't make your phone pro. It's barely better than last year's processor in every day functions...

      Reverting instant recharging (popping in a spare) and basically infinity autonomy would. Pros don't want to wait for their phone to charge and can't deal with being left out without charge.

      Revert spare batteries ... Yesterday.

            C'mon LG, It is time you learn from your mistakes. You have surprisingly lowered the prices in most of the countries. It just doesn't matter, if you care to introduce tons of rich features in your new model. For the user to experience those, the phone need to have a good battery. A solid battery. Your 3300mah and SD energy effecient chip philosophy won't sell anymore..It is hogwash.. If the SoC is energy efficient, Let it be.. You don't have to reduce the battery capacity. Let the user enjoy the extended screen time. Companies like Samsung, LG and many others mark the line every time by limiting the battery capacity. Sony recently announced they won't produce any mid end smartphones as there were no profits. That is what happens when you try to bluff the customers by offering what they don't like. Now with this G6 pro and plus, I seriously wish you upgrade the battery capacity as well apart from the extended storage. I hope the LG V30 will impress all of us..

              Plus should've had 6GB RAM at least, while Pro should've had 6GB RAM and SD835.

                It's possible, but that would be senseless

                  LG should have named it G6 plus & G6 Minus

                    Why would different storage capacities require different names? And since when is a 'pro' model worst than a original!

                            What happened to the G6 Alphabet? But these variants are mostly fuss about storage variants. I don't think it's unlikely that these variants come to life, but the name is misleading. G6 W for Wireless charging or G6 M for More memory, and G6 L for Lite...

                              where is sd835?!?!??!

                                Well, in fact exactly when i saw the title "G6 Plus & G6 Pro," I instantly thought that it was a great news. Because by Plus & Pro for me they meant, that "Plus" means a bigger display, and so i said to compete at a parallel level with the S8+ then, and by "Pro" I thought so it will be with the SD835, a 64GB internal, and maybe with a 6GB RAM & even maybe a better selfie cam as well, let's say 8MP or 12MP. But then, when I read the article, there was nothing of what I thought (haha quite funny or/and disappointing). So I'm slightly confused (haha). But okay, if these two new variants would have nothing of these mentioned upgraded specs, etc. Well, so it doesn't makes a lot of sense to launch them. But let's see.
