hmm -- AXON 8 -- when does that come out

AnonD-675952, 09 Jun 2017I was really hoping for 1440 x 2560 screen. Ah well. When I switch my S7's resolution from 1080 to 1440p I can't even see the difference, can you?
720p tho is very noticeable, texts become very blurry.

You want OnePlus to stay cheap while even Samsung Galaxy S8 base price is 100€ more expensive than the base S7.

Cue to the fanboys to nag about the 8GB of ram ... And then promptly be destroyed by said amount of Ram. Expect OP5 to be the fastest phone of 2017 (sans iPhone of course)... Expect $900 phone be *destroyed*.

DC, 09 Jun 2017No 2k screen to kill the battery, Yes good work. Just need ... more1080p is the closest to 2k that will ever be in phones.

              BTW 2k=2048x1080
              This phone=1920x1080

Thankfully too. QHD is good for nothing. Bad for VR (still too dotty), bad for every use (hardly a difference but impacts performance/ ram consiumption alright.

Just like the Mi6, it should be monstrously fast with a SD835 on 1080p screen.

Keep dreaming, why would they be running a FHD resolution on a QHD capable display when they have to make an important leak. Also, this proves just how familiar with the r11 op5 is. After all, their only differences are the cpu and ram and let's not forget that from what we saw as camera samples proved that op5 is no different than op3t's camera. I would literally die of laughter if the quality will be very similar to r11.

Oh no! : ( No 2k? Could it be running in FHD mode like Samsung S8 or is not expected a 2k display? Too bad, I will have to continue searching for a 2k, with last good specs and a reasonable price.

Hopefully its battery life wont be disappointing either, especially since its a 1080p AMOLED display and OnePlus has an excellent dark mode theme.

No 2k screen to kill the battery, Yes good work. Just need a great camera, waterproofing and the right pricing. The rumours weren't even true (2k screen, dual camera) probably doesn't even look like the iPhone 7 either.

It's going to have the same camera duo as the Oppo R11, which is another way of saying that it's going to have a crap camera.

OP knows the best phone cameras on the market have a single 12MP 1.4 or 1.55um sensor. They think you're stupid enough to believe that two cameras must be better than one. The only question is, are they right?
