aka a cheaper solution for vr that will give 99% of the people buying a phone stuff they don't want and/or need.
If they want vr to succeed so bad let them create something that you can connect to the phone and let that render the stuff but don't make phones more expensive for some gimmick that 99% never uses nor sees

moto z yeah how is that so different from anything else ?
The iphone took lots of hints from htc the one plus did the same.
The same goes for other companies that took ideas from other phones and put them on theirs.
Just look at the reviews from gsmarena and pocketnow for instance.
Every review you hear something along the lines of "this works like phone X", or "this looks a lot lot like the thing from phone Y"
Get real and understand that these days the only thing that can make a phone original is more or less the software.
The phone can only be original when the change up the design so much that it is something new.
And putting tech in a rectangle shaped box and make it thinner and thinner is not original anymore

Especially at 5.5" the sharpness of the display is woeful in comparison to 1080p LCD etc. That is why a 1440p display OLED display is so appreciated, as it roughly equates to 1080p LCD sharpness. Read up on PenTile displays at Anandtech and elsewhere for more info. It is true that some folks don't notice it, but even to my glasses-adorned eyes the difference is night and day between 1080p OLED PenTile and 1080p LCD, even more so when reading website text etc. I hope this is just a misquoted spec and not the final product or it might be a deal breaker for some folk.

I would like to see the 1080p display. 2k resolution does not make any difference (as the 8GB of RAM). Maybe it can save more battery power.
