I don't understand how Vertu manages to stay alive, especially in the times of smartphone. More importantly, I don't understand who buys them.
Rich people may buy super-expensive luxury watches but for mobile devices, they usually use a smartphone (iPhone or Samsung flagship usually). There might be scope for basic feature-phones (Nokia fans), or QWERTY phones (Palm and Blackberry fans) but is there still a viable market for Vertu?
