As if they already know what it will come with. Great thing about best flagship is that you pay for best tech inside. Also apple was always about hardware and software going hand in hand and people love that. Thats why they buy it, before and even now, it was never supposed to be cheap. For now no rivals detected - microsoft without own hw, sony, samsung without own sw, google also use a lot of 3rd party hw.

really like Special Edition last year, compact design with maximum performance. i think apple should keep the design of the iPhone, no need to follow the android phone design.

This will be the future strategy of Apple as TC clearly indicated that frequent product upgrades are not going to happen. To protect investors interest they keep increase the margin! At some point when another disruption happens with price innvovation undercuts Apple brand they will necome RIM or Nokia! People at unrealistic price points abandon the brand!

Former Android user here. My last Android was my beloved LG G3. That was a great phone, until it died after only 1,5 years. The plan was to upgrade to the Note 7. Unfortunately, we all know what happened. Therefore, I decided on the iPhone 7 Plus. Great phone, maybe a tad to heavy and wide. So, I was anxiously waiting for the iPhone 8. It looked very promising. Not anymore. Maybe the new Pixel XL, V30 or Note 8 has got what it takes to retire my 7 Plus :)

What does it have to do anything here, really?
Mind you, more people here in the Philippines are using an Xperia X (any Xperia X device) than say the iPhone 6s and 6s let alone the 7 and 7 Plus.
The XZ Premium here costs $800, $200 cheaper than the iPhone 7 Plus. And which one has the 4K HDR screen? Which one has the better slow motion capability? Which one has a more durable IP Rating?
Which one has widgets? Which one has a 3.5mm headphone jack? And the lists goes on and on........

Well, considering the latest rumours that Apple can't handle inductive charging yet, touch id is gone and the price is $1.500 on the delayed iPhone 8, I think they are right ;-)

The helm of Apple, is Tim Cook. He know nuts about Apple's needs. he only know how to count and make profit.
So all the products he and his group approved is only for maximising profit, rather then making people happy. (Inconsistent upgrade cycles, crap Pro devices, touchbar on a MACBOOK? Junk MacOS / iOS updates face palm move...)
Currently, tons of people are still in denial. Thinking how can a great Apple fail. But like Steve says.. "If they do not like it, they won't buy it." "If people like it, they will buy it"
Now with the drop sales, and the crap release of iPad Pro.. (the gorilla arm laptop killer.). Tim.. your mistakes for alienating your company's old Pro fanboys, will soon bring Apple to a crashing end. Your business mind of maximising profit can only bring you so far.
