So this always on display is same like Windows Phones had glance screen or something like that ? I never used it cause I didn't need more things that trains the battery. No matter does it use a lot or not, but the point remains as it will take battery life more when on.

... moreActually, it's not irrelevant. The act of packing in useless and even counterproductive features in order to fool people like you into thinking you're cooler than you really are - thus inflating a phone's price - is something to be concerned about.

When they'll have those 2 features I might buy one. Till the I'll go with Sony or the next Sharp flagships.

Very wise choosed thing Display Settings having to choosing different profiles sRGB mode, "Vivid Colors" options and more. Because not same standar content are everywhere and when profile is incorect we see less and just oversaturated colors. It's like pushed to much car accelerator (pushed color pedals in phone too much) and can't ride correctly and use full potential (see less color tones variation and just oversaturated colors).

Get HTC U11 with same feature and on par performance with Pixel 2. Only downside is that bezels are little bigger than the pixel 2 which would be available at double price of U11.

Another wannabe 6.0" phone in a stupid 18:9 aspect ratio. 6.0" inch 18:9 displays will always be a square inch less in displayable screen area. Not to mention smaller display of photos, videos, gaming, and horrid cramped reading aspect ratio. Zooming chops off heads and feet. This aspect ratio and other even wider ones (18.5:9) deserve to die.

Pixel is in market to clash with Apple so stop complaining about irrelevant stuff.
They have done a great job to establish the Pixel brand phone in less than a year, with Pixel 2 Google should have good sales number.

Doesn't the squeezing functionality suggest that it will in fact be made by HTC again and not LG. It seems really unlikely that a competitor would be copying a (somewhat gimmicky) feature like that found in someone elses flagship phone. But it is very much in keeping with the history of Nexus/Pixel phones that they incorporate much of the technology and design elements of whatever the current flagship is from the company that makes it. How is GSMArena so certain the Pixel XL2 is made by LG?
