Google Pixel XL 2 rumored to sport always-on display, squeeze gestures even with the screen off

Thanks again, dumb masses, for legitimizing 18:9 and 18.5:9 displays. I mean, after all, we really just want more small content on the screen at one time, not BIGGER content.

    Take my money, already!

      with that title, i realized there is value with the squeeze feature. it can configured to power the display instead of pressing the power button! a tighter squeeze can also bring up the camera.

        Ugh. Stupid Google, one-upping themselves to make me feel left out, with my Pixel XL

        Just... just release this thing already. I don't think I can wait the couple of months until this thing goes on sale...

          The pixel xl 2 looks much btr than its predecessor if the pic is to be believed

            Looks fantastic but i will wait for the slightly smaller HTC Pixel 2

                great...2 things I don't give one iota about. How about laying off the gimmicks and making it affordable?

                  "squeeze gestures even with the screen off", why is this in big letters in the title?
                  my htc u11 already does that (using it every day). when it arrived, all said was a gimmick..now is a pro feature...

                        The pixel looked very ugly,hope the pixel 2 is better than the render also hopefully it won't have dual camera but something similar to the htc u11 camera.

                          Hopefully it will turn out to be true, both features, the more features, etc., the better. And hopefully (if not even more) the real one will look as much as possible to this one in the image (or at least, I really like it).
