Personally, it doesn't make any sense to me considering that Samsung have just announced the start of a new AMOLED production line to keep up with demand.

Another thing is that the article mentions that the I9101 GSII is a cheaper alternative to the I9100. I'd like to point out that when the I9003 came out, the official Samsung dealer where I am actually stopped selling the original I9000, which has become quite a rare phone since. Personally, since the I9100 hasn't even come out here yet, i'm worried that they might just jump straight to the I9101.

These are sammy's marketing tricks, first launch phones with high specification like SAMOLED features, then sell the lower version with slightly modifid names..

I think there are already to many Galaxy S devices on the Market. Samsung should stop while the S II is still gr8!

Maybe it's time to put a non-touch W-LAN device on the market. I think the world is over flooded with touch-screens .

Why on earth would they downgrade it so much. This won't be a galaxy s 2 any more it should be called the Galaxy s 1.5

This is NOT a phone. Not even a smartphone. This is a legal way how to get your money. You don't even need the features it has.
