This is stupid, MOTOBLUR is the problem. if you run any different UI such as adw.launcer, launcher pro etc. the motorola handsets are infinitely better... no lag, no battery problems.

The problems with motorola phones and all phones with android no is android or the apps y the OEMS because alway instal aplications that reduce the performance of the phones i have the Optimus one and the Galaxy S and works fine with the OEMS android version but with the Mods vercion runs and look Great soo better

Oh and another thing.The biggest consumers of the battery are the screen and connections (wifi, bluetooth, 3G.The screens are bigger and bigger but batteries are still small and even thinner (at almost the same technology).

We dont need Motoblur,another way to lock phones from Motorola.We have antivirus apps for this already.And battery monitoring in Android too.Motorola needs new professionals for the drivers for their phones and to adapt Android to their phones.

MR. Indian, oh i mean "DR" SANJHAY doesnt know what he's talking about. Maybe MOTOROLA should start creating there OWN OS, they are just using ANDROID OS and if they have a problem with that then abandon creating an ANDROID phone.

my dell streak is running froyo and overclocked to 1.3ghtz and still has almost 3 times the battery life of an iphone 4 and about the same as a S^3 device so u can blame it on android apps since I run 9 apps in the background constantly...

i agree with Dr. sanjay, so many people install the free apps and because of the multitasking capable of the android OS, its unstable the phone perfomance and the OS itself, so i unistalled the unwanted apps and it brings back phone to its perfomance.

anybody, 04 Jun 2011don't blame android make a better phone then......i think a... moretry look inside android then you will see many bug & no privacy there LoL. android is not pure linux it's java based with some linux kernel , android is not open source call it google source why? because google have all your data information :) that's the fact. when Ghz come to phone it something wrong with the os. if you want use pure linux os on phone Maemo & MeeGo the answer :)

yesss symbian is stable. And u get the best battery life on symbian. Best battery life with symbian. On top of that symbian is open.
