pics look great indeed but comparing pics with camera of nokia n8 is just not fair, nokia n8 has better camera sans any doubt, i am a nokia user and i admit that symbian hasn't caught up android and ios in terms of so many things but nokia n8 has better camera whatsoever.......

C'mon Gsmarena, all Apple sample photos look amazing, because they have been doctored to look like that. The real thing is quite different.

The point is most people might take a dozen photos a week.... they spend hours looking at the screen and the new SGS2 due next month has 4.65 inch Super AMOLED Plus display at 1280×720 (720p) resolution.
I got the 3GS and 4G because it was the market leader. I am now on SGS2 because it is the best atm.

The SGS2 came... more4g nfc and flash are useless(for now) or dead...for eg adobe admitted defeat to html5 aso they released adobe edge to convert flash content to html5..then 4g how many countries have 4g?iphone 4 is being released on 70 different countries so they have to think about how many people are getting it and giving 4g will increase the price therefore making it useless to users in countries that dont have 4g which is MOST of the countries in the world...4g has atleast a year or 2 to reach some of the biggest countries in the world..lets talk about NFC now..nobody wants NFC incase u havent noticed most people have no idea what nfc is and just tell me how many stores accept nfc payment???i dont think walmart has nfc payment system..nfc will take atleast 2 to 3 years to become mainsream..so whats the use of giving all these useless features and increasing the price??

The SGS2 came... morelol people dont want bigger screen they need a screen sthat fits in their hand and has a good resolution..people want a simple phone with the features they need that work without crashing freezing or lagging..people want a phone that can do real internet..people also want a phone that has a good battery life..iphone 4 and 4s does all that thats why iphone has been number 1 on all customer satisfaction surveys for the last 5 years..and no people dont want flash on their phones because html5 on touch screen devices eats up lesser battery than flash and is more user friendly for touchscreen devices...please get ur facts straight and save urself the embarrasment

this are far from normal phone pictures. Take it from a pro photographer there is no way in hell this is done with such small sensor handheld without any set ups. I ve seen many many phones but those pictures most people can't even do with small dslr and good lens

Nothing on the market has yet to trump the Nokia N8. Strictly camera speaking, the Nokia N8 outshines any other phone maker. Pics by Apple, HTC, Samsung, etc are all good, but they lack detail and natural colour. Many are over saturated to make it "appear good" to the general consumer. But in reality, they trim a lot of details from the pictures to make it look unnatural.
The iPhone 4 camera for instance had really poor white balance. Same goes for Samsung camera. HTC lacks detail and the pictures looks really noisy.

The SGS2 camera is better that the iphone 4 and probably a bit behind the 4s. The point is people dont use cameras much. WHAT THEY WANT IS A BIGGER SCREEN! (followed by 4G and probably NFC.... not to mention flash)
