It seems that just as Apple's latest creation plugged one hole, another appeared.

AnonD-20221, 10 Oct 2011What does that prove anyway??? And whats with the iCopy??? ... moreWho does Nokia steal patents from? This issue is not about copying. It is about taking what belongs to someone else and passing it off as your own. Not good at all.

Why am I not surprised. Taking what belongs to someone and passing it off as your own especially making the claim that you are the 'first' is just plain theft. Apple seems to do it from time to time. Well if you have sold yourself as an industry leader then you have to act like one. What if you just end up acting? That is a totally different thing altogether. This is not a very good way to honour Steve Jobs. It just makes you wonder how safe is the future of Apple.

People only hear and see what they want from Apple. Apple are always claiming first on the product they releases and never admit that they are not. This is why they're always being sued by others, they steal other ideas and make it sound like it was their. "Innovation" is coming up with new ideas, NOT stealing or copying from others.

My Nokia E61 (2006) also could be used as an external modem by tethering it to my laptop.

Apple can only sue design and icons solidly.....

Technology wise---they just ride on patents of other companies. and think innovate and invent is the same.

Come on! These are phones. I love iphone design and easy to hold in hand, easy user interface. But only thing dont like is no flash. Samsung(galaxy family) is not easy to hold(in average, for medium hands), design, and android seem bit hard-to-get used to than i0S(i tried my uncle's s2 for 3 days). The only samsung phone i am keen to try is wave3. And if iphone keep this size and add flash, i will buy it. Or i'll go for wave 3.
Now,what i don't like about apple's guys who gives speech for release is that, they claim everything first and only one! Being over confident or over boastful never brings good to you. Remember it apple

not so long ago, Steve Jobs (R.I.P.) said that 2011 will be the "year of the copycats."

                                now i understand why...

kiloh3rtz, 10 Oct 2011Yeah sure Apple stoled this for ALL you android boys LOOK A... moreYou trully dont know anything . Nokia invented , other companies folowed. Every company took diffrent paths and reaches the same conclusion. That touchscreen , icons , apps , kinetic scrooling , status bar , etc is the best way to do it . I dont see whats all the fuss about these ... i mean apple suing samsung for the way unlock screen works ... seriously? in how many ways can you unlock the screen?. Samsung just chose the simplest . Who the f888 gives a rats ass that its similar to that found on the iPhone.

I DONT CARE APPLE OR SAMSUNG !. I want better phones , intuitive UI , shitloads of apps and i'm guessing thats what every1 wants.
This is not about patent's this is probably something more complicated that was not disclosed to the public.

Samsung had the upper hand and could have used it long time ago since it holds hundreds of patents that apple and other companies have infrindged but samsung kept it quiet. Only the heads of the companies trully know whats going on with these patent wars.
