24 August 2018
There’s an obvious gap between the Note5 and the Note8.

Note II and Note 7. Note series still in a good choice for me.

Useless gimmick phones. There is no practical use for day to day use. Stylus is of no use when you have better fingers and any artists that makes respectful art will use their PC. This phone is only good to show for the 1st month or 2 and after that you realise it is utterly useless with it's features. Poor quality hardware (note 7, luckily it caught fire and the truth was revealed). IRIS scanner? use the fingerprint scanner or the pin as anyone who wants your data will still get it after all those security levels. Samsung has overly processed pictures that are not at all tru to life and poor software implementation. AMOLED display is horrible as you will notice the yellow tint due to screen burn in after you have had the phone for a month. Now the company sells it for the power user but as a matter of fact, the water cooling gimmick, the display are the things that are of no use to a power user.

almost got a note 7, before I could get one, samsung discontinued it

                Where is the NoteFE?

There are still fans of Samsung Note7, who is running with the NoteFE now with a cheaper price, and smaller +safe battery.

Still using note 3 since the day it but the market flashed to AryaMod, just changed battery last year and with the note 7 power management it's fully loaded. A BIIGGG maybe to switch to the note 9 512GB next year for the right price. Till then I don't really need the upgrade, very satisfied with ma n0te

gorden, 25 Aug 2018Trying to hide it doesn't helpI agree Samsung could have mentioned that it was the lack if space surrounding the battery that didn't allow for expansion which occurred during charging as heating was a known factor

They could have and should have stated that given a VP commented on the Note 9.

The astronomical costs could have been averted argument aside if replaceable battery was a feature of the note 7 scrapping battery rather than whole devices

I replaced battery in an old 3G phone as I noticed it had swollen, visual inspection

I used all of them right from the Note1 uptill Note5 including NoteEdge, but i won't buy Note8 or 9 just bcoz of its size (its not pocketable) impractical to fit in pants pocket.

The only improvement Note 9 has over Note 4 is fingerprint reader, metal construction, sealed in battery and 12mp camera; all stuff copied from Apple.

note 7 is missing cuz the slide blew up!!

but what happened to note 3 neo?? it was better than the note 3 even though the hardware was a step below!

though a special mention about the note 3 is it was the first (or only?) phone with a USB 3 micro-B connector - the one more commonly seen in USB 3 hard drives. it WAS cumbersome to use but nobody's quite sure why it was never pushed forward (good riddance though)

kind of a lame info-graphic tbh

They also forgot about removing some cool features that the S Pen used to have in older models, like formula match:

Galaxy Note 9 & Note 7 (or FE) is my favorite in the Note series.

I'm currently using recently bought Galaxy Note 4 which I dreamt of owning when it was a hot cake.

I'm still and will always look forward to next Galaxy Note(s) unless Samsung decided to kill the lineup.
