i think the blind stinkingly obvious reason for this is the complete lack of full media promotion of the phones they sell, its like the old saying ''having a winning lottery ticket doesnt mean owt until you claim it, its still a piece of paper''

im selling plenty of LG's, but i first have to convince clients of the brand before i do, problem is they dont have a good image. the products are great but people dont trust the brand enough to go with it.

LG just needs to work on their UI & design, their hardware is alright, just the phone design and software UI.

LG You must start upgrading devices to 2.3.3 gingerbread whereas other companies are promising to put ICS on older handsets...grow up and see the market there will be no loss...

Yeah their designs are so ugly.whenever I see new releases it's like yuck!!!!! Some designs r so ugly it's like baby toy.look at c series, optimus me etc etc..and I hate their ok labelled middle buttons.

I used to like LG mobile phone but LG mobile phone let me down.Now I never wanted to look at LG again no matter what type of phone they release

they deserves it,,,cause they dont have any type of idea for wat to give the consumers in an mobile phone in featurewise, they dont have any idea about the television advertisement, all phones looks the same,,single only black colour,, always late in any launching..& more & more & more....its time for him to pack the bags.............

The last two sentences are true. Looks like a Deja-vu from siemens Mobile: first colour display, first MP3 on a phone, first flash on a phone, first rugged mobile...and in the end? Slaughtered by Benq and also ended in a bad way

LG should first improve their software update policy, i mean even motorola and sonyericsson learned the lesson and they're committed to release OS updates as soon as possible,, even LG's flagship didn't get gingerbread yet, this is shockingly disappointing for a company that wants to compete with the best,, HTC offers best android software experience and sasmung offers best hardware in whole mobile world, LG lags behind in both aspects, they have nice screens and somehow stable UI but that's it, also their audio and cam qualities are somehow sub-par,, IF U WANT TO COMPETE THEN U MUST RELEASE OS UPDATES EARLY AND LOWER YOUR PRICE EVEN A LITTLE BIT!

i knw the reason. My optimus black is still on froyo, lg said it will update in august,then september,then october,then november and nw in december,but no exact date. I hope lg read this.

Here's a little advice for LG from ex-Optimus Black user.
1. More responsive and unique UI.
2. Be more creative in your design of handsets like your bl-40.
3. Quicker updates for your phones.

They produce some top notch hardware, but when it comes to put all these together the result sucks. And the software in their phones is bad. Optimus 2X was a first, but it brought bad reputation for LG.
Marketing = branding, make a good product and your image will become an icon, look at iPhone or the Galaxy series (and Nokia some years ago).

LG had it coming with their slow , slow software support !!!! Arrrrrghhhhh !!!! They made Optimus 2X , a Tegra 2 device and kept it at froyo . . . it is stil oficially at Froyo , and everyone from the BIG league is promising ICS . We are going to get GB when others get ICS , that is the reason why their sales are going down ! They do not CARE about the people they are selling their stuff to . . . " you can't sell me GOLD if you are rude to me , I'd rather buy it somewhere else , even if it is more expensive ! "

LG makes junk phones,... morei agree. remmember when lg released its "first" dual core phone and within just a few months, the galaxy s2 came out? the galaxy s2 blew away the so called "first" dual core phone. i'm not judging it with relation to just the phone i proudly own now, but if u see the 3D phones they have, they suck. anyone here been to a live demo of these things? tried using them? seriously they suck. LG needs to grow up. i hope the PRADA K2 works for them cause the name does sound good.
