Abhi Dahiya, 27 Oct 2018Something is definitely wrong about how google collects dat... moreSeems accurate to me. Just think about it. Most people on android are galaxy users.
Those phones you listed, hardly anyone have them. I have one plus 6. We all know for a fact that samsung aint getting pie untill next year lol.

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2018Well project treble makes the updates easier... it does not... moreI agree, Google must force all OEM's to update longer atleast 2/3 years.

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2018So 'project treble' is failedNo no no, Treble makes easier to updates. But its still depends on OEMs not the Android OS its self. If you really want to Project Treble works well looks at Android Oreo's Costom ROM.

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2018So 'project treble' is failedWell project treble makes the updates easier... it does not make updates automatically! Someone still has to do the job to make new version to each phone model,..
And phone companies does not do it because it would decline new phone selling volume when customers could use their phones 5-8 years instead of 2-3...
We need law that says that phone company has to give updates minimum of 6 years... then those people who buy new phones every year can do it and those who keeps phone longer (or buy used phones) can use the, longer,

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2018Android Pie only suits on Google pixel devicesI meant to reply to you.

Not true. There are many people enjoying 9.0 on a multitude of devices. I'm using 9.0 on my OnePlus 5T and it's excellent.

                            Orio os the best

Why do sites need to keep reporting this? We get it. OEMs who aren't Google or Essential are SLOW with the updates. This is filler news.

Everyone knows Pie will get distributed more next year when most Android smartphones come with it by default. Been going like this for a decade. We know the drill.

Wait by October 2019. Another report that Android Quiche barely registers. Uh, yeah. That's the cycle. 2020 is when more people will have it.

Xiaomi already has 3 devices running on Pie,but with Miui it doesn't matter wich android version you have, because all are running Miui 9 or 10 and have the same functionallity and protection!Only the security patches are different sometines! But the software updates are one of a kind on Miui.Weekly beta updates and years(4-5) of stable upgrades(Miui(7,8,9,10,11) on Mi flagships!
