nokia is best with giving update i was surprised to see a new major update for my 3 year old 5230with new browser and smoother performance. My bro 4 month old galaxy ace wont be having nxt android update lol.

I am From Panama Republic and still cant update to Anna.It could be because of CLARO (my cellphone provider), I am just waitting till samsung improves the camera on the galaxy to change from nokia.

Symbian big mistake is that when he launching a new os that h will forgate his old os.
so old os user what can do??
compare between android and anna and also add hardware others company will much better then nokia.....i love nokia phones but we want continue updates for all handsats.

Who did he motivate with the "Burning Platform" memo and announcing that Nokia would be dropping Symbian and Meego? Symbian has a bigger ecosystem than WinMoFo7...and Meego is one of the most flexible mobile OSs out there. The Meego ecosystem would have grown leaps and bounds in no time with the help of the Symbian Developers had he not announced it dead. Porting apps to Meego from Symbian using QT is damn near as easy as cut/paste. Keeping Meego would have allowed Nokia the freedom to put whatever they want into their devices without having to wait for Microsoft to add compatibility(WP7 Tango to add NFC). Why piss off the developers? Why screw the Symbian/Meego loyalist? WTF why Windows?
