Verizon will have you give it $53.95 per month for two years, while AT&T demands $43.17 for 30 months.
Now this is pure greed and robbery on customers.
Whole phone cost 1290 but Verizon asks for 53,95 per month for 2 years so its 53,95 x24 which is much over 2000.
        Only AT gives comparable price.

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2018Oh booiii~ 2 yr old SoC priced @ $1.2k even more than an al... moreAre you stupid? It is not about chipset, it is about being first holographic phone in a world, or you dont know what it is holographic stuff either?

Overpriced, outdated, what more do you need to know this will be a huge flop?

Two or three years ago would have been a different story, but now? Brilliant VZW, another phone you will ignore on release and drop as soon as your bare minimum contract is fulfilled.

              - Will it be available in Europe?
              - Can you root it?
              - Does it have the SD card slot?

              If not, I'm not interested..

$1295 and still SD835? This device died before it even arrived.

Andy , 29 Oct 2018Most likely no oneI am sure at least one person will buy to review it.

Devil , 29 Oct 2018This is a real failure, Essential please come back! Anyone who can “show up” their product after year and a half from their announsment is FAILYRE!
Tech goes so fast these days that even 6 months is a big time, more so in the troath cutting smartphone market.

Alexander Bell, 29 Oct 2018How do you know? Do you have one?The reviews speak for themselves. It's an awesome idea, but they botched the execution after hyping it up last year, delaying it until now, and releasing it just like that

soares, 29 Oct 2018I am curious what kind of users will buy it.Most likely no one

I've mentioned it sometimes ago that if the so call hologram screen / holographic images are somewhat like how the 3DS work, then it is pretty pointless to have a phone like that ( I mean, even 3DS user work turn on the 3D function all the time). And yes, it isn't actually like the 3DS, cause it is like those cars where you see a different image from different angle! And that isn't really consider good either!
And coming from the verge review, it's just not so good!
( You don't want to have a blue and red glass to view the screen! /Sarcasm).

Watched the verge's review of this phone. I can say this is probably the most expensive gimmick phone on Earth. They're still have stuff under their sleeve tho, like the full compatibility with red lenses. But if it's the only thing that's standing out, then it's only for people who owns a red camera (and that's hella expensive).
