only retarded companies would let its flagship go without the latest updates.ics would prolong sgs2 lifetime by a few more months until sgs3 is ready to come out and play.

Why do people go on aboit playing games on a phone.I dont care about it.Only sad little children are interested and adults dont care.I would never buy a phone because there are oads of naff games. What an experience playing them on a 3.7 inch screen.

Yeah, even the birds were singing that SGS2 will get ICS.
                  What about i9000 (SGS)!?
I know Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray that has just a little worse hardware(CPU+GPU) than Samsung Galaxy S will get ICS, but why not Samsung Galaxy S?!
Granted, the Xperia Ray is a 2011 phone model and Galaxy S is 2010, but that shouldn't stop Samsung, should it?
If Samsung won't do it, at least CyanogenMod with version 9 will do it. :D

No wonder.. I'm using this phone. And I think this is the best phone I've ever had before..
Even if it can't be updated to the ICS, Gingerbeard is more than enough for me..

VinothKumar Srinivas, 18 Nov 2011What about other Galaxy series ? (Samsung I9003 Galaxy SL ,... moreI'm sure older models will not get it (to boost sales of newer models)

But I'm curious about i9001 S Plus, which has the same specs as Xperia arc S.

SE confirmed ICS for ARC and other 2011 models, but Samsung stays quiet on this.

So I think there will be no official version, despite it's hardware can support it.

                                      Business policy....
