Wow... even GSM Arena throwing a blow at Nokia Windows Phone. If this were Iphone or or any high-end android device, fans would be bragging, but because its NWP7, you have the usual trolls stomping their little feet. Hilarious...
WP7 is generating buzz. So much so... im purchasing their device, once it comes out in the U S. Tired of the overload junk iphone/android offers. yep yep... blah, blah.

and
Editor’s Choice Award is Nokia Lumia 800.

Sorry to burst quite a few peoples bubble, but if the vast majority of people who have commented on this story would of checked it's validity, you would of realised that GSMARENA actually got the wrong facts for this article! The Nokia Lumia 800 "DID NOT WIN" What Mobile Award's Mobile Phone of the Year.
The SAMSUNG GALAXY S2 won the Mobile Phone of the Year Award.
The Nokia Lumia 800 won the "Editor's Choice Award".

only reason why nokia is still the top mobile manufacturer is because they've been making phones for decades...samsung and apple are relativelty new and they've made great products
seems like the brand and OS bashing will never end...if u never used a phone, u cant say its crap
whatever review u read is opinions of the reviewer, it just gives u a clearer understanding of the phone
each phone has its pros and cons, only problem with my SGS2 is battery life, other then that its better then anything else i USED thus far

Nokia Lumia is an amazing phone. Went to the 3 shop on Wednesday, and all the assistants could not put down the phone. They all said it was the best phone they ever had in the shop. I have a Samsung Omnia 7, and the WP7 OS is fantastic, but phone is a peice of crap. The bottom just snapped off, as I use a case, so pulling it in and out of the case has broken the phone! Reception is even worse, and I can hardly keep a call. I will upgrade to Nokia when it is available sim free. One thing for sure, the WP7 OS is the Dogg. Just brilliand!
Regards the award, many cars of the year are awarded those titles, before they are even launched. It has now happened with a WP7 phone, and the Android and iOS fans (mugs) are up in arms. If your phones were so good, why didn't you vote for them??? Nokia is going to have a fantastic 2012, and I might just wait for the 900.

I don't need quad core procie or 2GB RAM do you have. I just need a smooth and best performance... Not laggy performance like yours

Nothing against windows phone and Nokia but you cannot vote a phone based on an announcement!! Not being funny but other windows phones or very similar software wise do why have they not won? This has nothing to do with hardware specs etc!! We all know that great software will run amazing on older hardware so doesn't matter there because it would still mean the phone performs better, however they have not even touched the phone!!!!!

I bought my HD2 on contract nearly 2 years ago.I love it and like htc.I am due for an upgrade. I picked this nokia up in carphone warehouse and could not put it down.Its perhaps the most beautiful smartphone in the shop,could possibly be a bit bigger,but so smooth,like a rolls royce,dont need to keep visiting the menu.It feels like a rolls royce.I can get the ssg11 for less money.Whilst the specs and speed are top notch,its hard to fall in love with.It has the feel of a toy phone.
