Completely useless in my opinion. Two screens is more gimmicks than usefulness. All the time switching sides just to make some pictures would anoy me to hell. Plus non existent protection from drops(no possible to put case) woulf really limit its usefulness in more dangerous environments or in general, few drops and you out of the game. Not a good idea.

I find this a waste of money & space.
Instead of that, motorised, INTERNALLY rotating camera modules should be there... fitted inside transparent 'at the right place' body...
There should be total 3 cameras only. Wide+rotating. Super wide+rotating and Telephoto fixed. Their rotation should be separate for each camera so dualfie becomes possible..

Dual screen actually is a very smart idea. We can use it to navigate main screen too and so on, so as long as the phone is not become more expensive, then why not?

The Yota phone was the only one with a back screen that made sense and that was a flop so do the math.

Here are some myths people have about dual display phones like the Nubia X
Cant make a case for it... Bumper cases simple, the Nubia X comes with one
More drain on the battery, also false as one is completely turned of when not in use
Costs more money and is expensive... Nope the Nubia X goes for less than 500 with the latest chipset etc while single display phones cost so much more with less
Smh china does a new approach to technology and it's still not enough, but if they copied then everyone would be yelling out their lungs, I guy at work even told me the Nubia X looks like an iPhone X I was so amazed by this

I don't want holes or notches on my screen man. I don't take much selfies. If a lower res screen is used in the back to keep prices low, I'm all for it. I'm not even gonna use the rear ever. Just no holes... Cuz dem holes ain't loyal.

Yeah not necessary, but should they implement it anyway, the new zte nubia phone is the way to do it.

I think a newer/more expensive device should JUSTIFY itself not based on the advertising but rather based on the MERITS of the actual product. That to me is logical and rational, I wonder who else agrees with me on this topic.

I don't understand the option "Stop making phones more expensive". Having a second screen does not necessarily mean the phone is more expensive because you get rid of the selfie camera at the same time. Doesn't the selfie camera cost money too?

If something enter mass production (say a secondary screen) it only makes said market less expensive instead of (it) being an expensive mimick.
IMO wrong on gsmarena's part to include it as an option.
Phones' BoM was always similar to this day. Phones get more expensive because manufacturers want to retain old profitability with new (lower) interest. The only way to achieve this is by increasing prices.
So , no, adding a secondary screen would barely make a phone more expensive on in itself. Maybe more prone to needing repairs? Sure. Maybe company asks for more because it now says that it uses two screen? Maybe. But more expensive because of the increased BoM? Not even close.
2 mass produced screens instead of one that is more thinly produced cost about the same at the end of the day... Silly option.
