I will not mourn for sluggish laggy and cheap J series with bare ram disk space and heating problems when playing pacman or tetris. But the price of 200 bucks or more J7 plus 2017 started at 300 bucks same price as Pocophone world cheapest flagship phone.

So if you have it or not it doesnt matter only difference is a price of this feature counted into each device.

Samsung should put back IP68 to their A series of phones. The A series with a single number used to have this. Now, it's gone. SMH.

              That's enough for 2019

I had a feeling that this was gonna replace the J, not the M series. Mostly because of the lower build quality and no IP ratings compared to what the As used to be known for. Which raises the question: Will they be releasing premium build smartphones at midrange prices again? There's still a handful of people who liked those features of the old A series

Galaxy A are not affordable . They are mid range

Most of their sales they were getting from J series. Without it seem their sales crater. Nobody buys their high end stuff (very few) mostly because they don't load their phones as much as other android makers on one hand and they are not Apple on the other (if you want to corners in hardware, you better be Apple).

Ominous for their future this cut. Probably they signed their death warrant. Nokia died too, there is no shame in that, that had 5 excellent years and another 5 really good ones. In 2020s they dead (as Nokia is now, instead we get Fake Nokia theses days which is very hbad for the legacy of the name. Nokia should had never allowed that Chinese company to use their name)
