Apple deserves all that money because they care about their customers and developers unlike google.
I have an android phone and i know how bad it is.
Apple knew from the beginning what they were doing. They sell only one phone because this way developers will have to test their apps only in one device. And customers will get better support and updates.
Google cares only for sales. This is why many apps are not working in some devices or have problems. All the comments you see in android market is someone complaining about this. Of course google knows this, they could make minimum requirements for their os likes windows did with windows phones but they care only for sales...

In Galaxy S II you get more features that iPhone 4S. Maybe iPhone 5 would be able to beat S II in future. But not Galaxy S III.

This isn't about size or logos. People buy iPhones because they know they are buying quality. Seeing someone with an iPhone and liking the look of it is one thing, to actually play around with that phones and then think "wow this phone is truely good as the hype says" is another. Apple are so confident of their products that they have an iPhone to play about with in every one of their stores. They are saying "don't just take our word for it, see for yourself". It's the confidence of an excellent product, excellent support and after care (believe me they do help) is the reason why do many chose Apple.

iphone 4s is a good phone...here are my suggs:
but i don't like iStuff personally...the price never gets down until there's a new iphone available. the variety of free iapps u get is less than andriod. if u want to customize u have to jailbreak it to push iphone beyond its boundaries. but it also has got PROS...the camera quality of iphone 4s is far better than galaxy nexus and galaxy sII...moreover the feeling i get by using iphone 4 was far better than SII idk y...despite the fact iphone 4 compred to SGSII is crap...and no doubt about it.... I did not use iphone 4s but as far as my lil experience is concerned iphone 4s has only one advantage over Galaxy S II or nexus that is the Camera Quality. I don't know but i get irritated by calling apple products which starts from " i " eg. iphone ipad and all that iStuff

The reason why they sold so much is because of their marketing and kept it simple. The only I dont like about them is their OS is so vanilla. Other than that they need to come up with different styles cause releasing the same over every year with one or two differences is kinda lame you really dont need to get the latest and greatest. I'm still on my 3GS. This fights Apple vs Droid arent getting anywhere so why do people even bother to troll with them.

If you want smaller phone no-one can't say you to buy big phone, you choose that small phone and it's almost 100% sure iPhone nowdays.
And there you get huge sells :)

With this, I don't want to start yet another discussion on what is the better phone in the market. Like someone mentioned earlier, I know what the best phone is FOR ME.
I have to congratulate Apple for their marketing. I also have to say that, while some people don't understand how people can by such expensive phones, its really easy to understand it. Where I work, you can buy a 4S 16GB for €49,90, with a 2 year contract, and even with the economic situation world wide, there are a lot, really a lot, of people that are willing to get "stuck" with a 2 year contract just to get the latest IPhone.
But I'll say it again, congratz to Apple for their marketing!
P.S. - I'm a Droid user, and I love Droid phones, but really, I so sick and tired of iOS vs. Android fights, that I won't go there anymore...

SWEET; but i have no idea about the craziness as why are people worldwide or in US are spending so much on 4S.I have the iphone 4 and my friend has the 4s>>he felt cool for some time>>but WTH>>they are 95% similar.God knows the truth behind this joyful report for apple; its fishy as i would say nothing if iphone 5 did this after coming out..lol

First of all those phones are very different size phones, even that itself make your comment stupid. You say everyone need to buy huge plastic sammy which feels like a toy?
It's not advertising why iPhone sells more than galaxy s2, i'v been saying it thousand times, iPhone has much bigger potential to sell than those huge phones which most of people still don't want.
Small phone fits everyones hand, sgs2 DON'T
Don't get me wrong sgs2 and iPhone 4S are best phones out there, but sgs2 cant ever beat iPhone sells because it's too huge phone for most of people.
Also can you say how that sgs2 betterness shows for average users?

S2 is a lot less expensive than 4S, and a lot better, and this prove that advertising is very powerful and buyers can not "defend" themself from massive advertising!
Android can do a lot more than iOS!
