Plugged in my E7 to computer and Nokia software prompt me an update available. Map software (voices, map) and MS (Lync, PowerPoint etc.).
Is this means I got FP1 Belle as well? My software version is 111.030.0609. Preordered it last year and got the first batch released in Indonesia, silver. This just goes to show how I'm not Nokia hater for all the comment below.
Belle is a major improvement, I mean MAJOR.
But.
Touches still many times not registered. Swiping left and right the home screen still feel somewhat stuttered. Now experiencing many, I mean MANY, messages unsent and have to be resend again, unlike my good ol E52 fire and forget (a very reliable and long lasting device, that one).
GPS software is pleasant to use with it's hires screen and accurate lock but, again, unlike E52 does not allow pre (multi) point my destination to setup my preferred route.
But if I have to say which one my biggest gripe is Swype. Installed the one in Betalabs which support my country language. Swype is FAST and accurate and E7 is a MONSTER messaging device, but does it have to have a layout glitch showing background leak in portrait mode? I mean, really? It's just a few pixels offset but come one, guys!.. (this is to the Swype developer). Now missus me use it replacing her previous E52 (we bought pairs that one. Excellent device, peeling plastic body and inconsistent menu layout, though).
Biggest improvement after upgrading: battery consumption previously last one day now withstand 2 days, no problem. Regular use (call, internet, texting).
Been using iPhone4 as my main phone since last July. Don't feel the need to upgrade when the newer arrived, and love every aspect of it. Except one. I hate typing on it. Somehow I keep pressing the wrong letter. After all this time.
Oh well, can't have everything.

I think that if you do not update Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1 and n8, c7, c6-01etc Nokia has lost both her clients and fans especially nokia nokia nokia belle will be dezamagiti.si current goes so well , pictures to zoom and video fLV real player will not open.

I think 1080p unavailability on Belle and previous phones also has to do with HW limitations, for example my Nokia only has 680MHz processor and a Broadcom GPU which is enough for most tasks but I don't think it'd fare well with 1080p videos

So happy to chose 700 as my next smartphone after Nokia E6-00..well now I can enjoy the new update of Feature Pack 1 when it is released..Thanks Nokia.. :)

Not giving 603 1.3ghz update means it hardware is not on par with 700,701 i.e limitation on 603 hardware...
Am still wondering if 603 will be able to hold some HD content like 701 will!

Will this dolby digital bring surround sound to headfones? Its weird how no-one has developed a concert hall setting for symbian yet the REVERB AND TRAJECTORY settings are in the 3d ringtones so the DLL and API,s are their for this function..I have to use Samsung fones or iohone because they have these effects..Come on some Symbian developer get the concert hall sound of samsungs and thast me fully on symbian 808.
