lol android phone comes with HTC, SE, Samsung, LG but Iphone is the only carrier of the iOS, if you compare Samsung alone to Apple.... you decide whos the winner

apple boy, 31 Mar 2012i hate the update facility of an android phn. Apple releas... moreurbal legend - compare how long it took from anouncement and release of first beta of IOS 5 to official release - it was like 6 month... for IOS 4 it was less then 4 month.... in fact release is much faster.

i hate the update facility of an android phn. Apple releases its update vry fast nd they do as they promiced. Apple releases only 1 phn in a yr and android releases 1000s of phns a year.the worst thing abt android is they does nt provides the latest update for their low end phns.

Apple has always sold an overpriced, low-specs phones and the only reason why people buy them is because of bragging-rights. Poor battery life, expensive apps, tons of HW issues makes it so obvious that Apple sells overpriced, poorly manufactured units which is imho a crime.

How about this?... Nokia N73 with front facing camera was released in 2006. With N73, you don't need any wifi and just Nokia devices to have video callls, it can be done with 3G network also and with any other phone also which has front facing camera.
Iphone 4 with so called "Face Time", "Revolutionary Feature" as they say for their every product, no matter what... It was released in 2011, and the irony is that you can have video calls with apple devices only and over the wifi only. Now that does not make any sense!! Releasing the same feature with limitations after 5 years, and giving it some fancy name does not make your product unique. It's just mere marketing trick in which I feel Nokia fell behind.

Just wait for the new ICS update then we can talk. Of course the iphone 5 should help the statistics go even further :)

Apple are marketing gurus who have their products positioned as being very fashionable. Sales can be a distorted way to compare how good the products are.

Wit every kid in England now dumping Blackberry for an Iphone, of course iOS is gonna catch up...I'm selling my 9700 to get an Iphone 4S or WP or maybe a dual-core qualcomm powered android smartphone :)

Wow Apple seems to be catching up! It is not surprising though, given the excellent iPhone 4S. Android seems to be just holding steady, wonder if WP7 has caused them to worry.

I think Android has issues in terms of a lack of upgrade path for low end products and now issues with ICS creating problems for current high end users. RIM does far better and indeed may be the no.1 in growth markets. Apple attempts to be a perfect solution. But is the term smart phone relevant when some phones are "smarter" than others for the intended purpose of the user. Frankly I don't think these phone are smart as such, just smart marketing inducing you to buy a product for which you don't really need at all.
