its the norm now, you can buy electronics in China without a "brand" and buy it in bulk then rebrand them to what you want. examples are those desk fans.

It's funny how people say that the company will go bankrupt just because they make affordable products. You can really see who thinks and uses their brains instead of just their mouths.

thanks for nokia designers. I'll get it for my secondary handset. I like its functions and its black & white display ! Especially this handset has very good price.

I do remember about Motorola's Motofone F3. They also did very cheep phone and after 1-2 years practically was under died.
Nokia following the same way. Another giant collapsing.

Nice phone...but expected this phone for @ €10..
At this price point(€15) micromax x102 is giving colour display,camera,dual sim,fm,mp3,8Gb expandable memory...and wireless stereo fm..bluetooth and torch..check it out..lolz...

AnonD-7494, 10 Apr 2012I don't think launching this phone globally is a good idea ... moreon the contrary, i think launching this affordable phone is a great idea.. not all of us especially in developing countries afford to buy any fancy, high-tech phone.. most of them are working by with low income.. so this simple, affordable phone is great way to rural folks to communicate with each other regardless needing to buy fancy expensive phones. for me, i will buy this phone for daily use because of the user friendly operation, durability of the battery.. sometimes, simple is better.. :)
