i wanna buy it quicker. this summer i go to a trip in Paris for 14th july parade. I will go to Eiffel Tower with my camera and i will take superb panoramas from there using my nokia 808. I hate to carry in trips 4 devices: photo camera, video camera, gps and mobile phone everywhere i go. beside being all this devices alltogether, nokia 808 is a superb mp3 player with dolby sound and i can access internet and post my 38 mp photos very smooth from anywhere. a total device wich make useless:first, the compact cameras with tiny 5x optical zoom wich darken the scene and shitty 16 mp resolutions and second, the cheap full hd videocameras from samsung or even sony with low bitrate, bad optics, 10x optical zoom, tose around 300 euros. practical thinking, pureview 808 have a superb price because you do not have to throw 400 euros for movie camera and photo camera

The King, 02 May 2012Samsung makes the best cameras.samsung makes the best camera? Nexus, s2 and even note camera are called the best? Hahax Hahax i think i could laugh until i die.. samsung has already dead in making camera! That's Why s3 would have only 8mp camera Because samsung cannot produce the even better camera and even the better images :) samsung fanboy Please get away from here, We Nokian don't need you to persuade to others that your samsung camera is way 'BETTER' than our monster 808 pureview:)

Don't forget to click for maximum resolution. Also don't forget to zoom in. It's not about creating a wall of a picture, it's about making the best 5MP picture out of all that 41 Megapixels.

I'd have to say that the whole higher resolution camera is just another marketing thing. As everyone knows to the naked eye you can only see between 4 and 6 megapixels anyway and with a tiny little lens like that there is no way the quality will be any better than you'd get off the iPhone 4's 5mp camera.

                    nokia 809 video recording

"And what shall I say? The nokia 808 does it too, not supersampling 8MP (C300) or 16MP (GH2) but supersampling all 33,593,616 pixels (16:9) 30 times every second! That's one billion pixels the nokia 808 processes every second. In a mobile phone. This is crazy!"

                      STUNNING !!

"And because no graphics processor (GPU) obviously can handle this data rate (otherwise, HDSLRs would be able to do it too), Nokia designed a special chip (the scaling processor) which sits in the camera module between the sensor and the GPU. And Toshiba managed to make a sensor which can output the equivalent of 8 GBit/s. So, there is a large CMOS sensor, a scaling processor, a graphics processor and the ARM CPU chewing each others output to get the job done."
