Sprint LG LS970 to come with quad-core 1.5GHz Krait processor

11 May, 2012
LG is preparing the monstrous LS970 for Sprint – featuring a quad-core 1.5GHz Krait CPU.

Anonymous, 11 May 2012It's a leak of a sprint version, LG is korean, so why would... moreSometimes some companies make the mistake at making some phones for American carriers. Samsung make more than one phone every year for At&T, Verizon, Sprint and so on. The LG Optimus Vu is only available in South Korea, and the LG LTE2 the same. They should release them everywhere.

specs wise, it may be the best in the world with affordable pricing too but as an O2X owner, i'll take this phone with A CUP of salt! they may have the best hardware, but with no software support, it can go downwards very fast, especially if it is not supported by a lot of xda developers.... look at cyanogen mod, they still hv only CM7, and though it's supposed to b stable, it's buggy as hell! so buy LG's phone with care!

This same chipset is ticking inside the Sony Xperia Z (Codenamed : Hayabusa).

As I understand it, the dual core Krait processors are outperforming most, if not all, quad core chips already, so this phone should have some serious processing power behind it.

This phone isnt going to get a world wide release cause its a sprint exclusive.
And even if it beats gs2 on specs it sure as hell aint gna outsell it.

Lg was 1st with dual core bt gs2 outsold it. Same thing will happen here. Lg is no match for samsung.

never buy LG, they don't providegood update support, customer care services are shocking, phones are only released to compete not too work good and LG never release the good phones globally.

Best in terms of hardware but it will get android jelly bean after a year when Samsung is preparing next nexus device for android 6.0 or something..
