The specs mean NOTHING without software support , I will never buy an Android device from LG , EVER. I'd take those specs in an HTC , a Samsung or a Sony device any day of the week , this hardware is gonna set the benchmark in every aspect of performance on a droid , the only chipset that might get close to this one is the quad-core A15 Exynos( not the one in the Slll which SUX )

If this was anyone but LG and was available globally. This would definately be the top smartphone in terms of specs and processing power and benchmark tests. However, if LG have just announced this then I'm assuming that a lot of other manufacturers are either working towards the same type of phone and being hush hush or they will be know to try and top LG. Especially Samsung I think. But Krait Quiad Core V Exynos 5 quad core sounds like fun doesnt it :)

LG always be the first to set a new hardware standard..if is this true, then i do have a reason to wait for other companies that mainly use krait chipset to release their version, maybe sony or htc.. it also possible somehow to at least one variant of S3 to have this chipset..

-great hardware without best feature software is useless-

Wow! LG or Samsung and debunk it will be able to continue like this, is they lack even improve attendance in technical assistance and software updates, and also the customizations on top of Android that is crap, at least in the case of LG!

ufff..... LG is going to make it....even dualcore krait is much powerful than any, then the quadcore krait processor will be much more powerfull...hmmm anyway now the competition is between quadcores,,,,in 2012 the newer handsets are of high capacity battery, dual or quadcore processors, large screen size and high pixel density, and many other functions are bundled in it. Cant wait for the upcoming heros...

do not compare quad cortex-a9 core with dual cortex-a15 core..its totally different in par of performance and realibility..if LG launced this quad-core krait based cortex-a15 this year, then we juz wait sammy launched their exynos 5 quad based a15..then we compare it together..

I don't know why manufacturers don't try to rise the quality inside as battery life & saver therefore they made somthing like the big empty barrel.

I started to like LG, and they make the mistake to not release it for the whole world. They did the same with the LG VU, and the Optimus LTE 2 is only for South Korea. The Optimus 4X lack a Corning Gorilla screen. They made some big mistakes this year. :(

This was the best phone's if only if wasn't LG I have a lot of bad experience with LG when I first bought their optimus one its good but optimus 2x for an upgrade disappoints me a lot...too buggy LG's software is a let down they have good specs not bad design but poor software..looking for this as my next phone if it comes out internationally'

It seems to be aiming for a Q4 release acccording to BriefMobile.

Despite LG's reputation for support.. I don't know about you guys, but this is what i was expecting from a GS3 and not some special event to present a Galaxy S2_S.

Now LG, go get them tiger, and do it well before iphone 5 release...

If the Dual-Core Krait can comfortably run alongside the Quad-Cores from Tegra and Exynos, the Quad-Core Krait should absolutely bury them.
The Adreno 320 and 2GB Ram mean business too. Looks like LG isn't just out to embarrass the S3 with this one; they're going straight for the jugular...

If this true then it will beat The S3 with performance, I saw the dual core krait is on par with the S3 so The Quadcore will smoke the S3 easily

great! i mean i i know that LG are first to launch and last to update! but i was waiting for krait quadro since last year, 2gb of ram is amazing as well, although i wonder what will it do to the battery,, 2100mAh battery in 8.6mm thick body is excellent as well, but i would accept a 9mm thick one with a 3000mAh ( aka razr maxx!) can't wait for the international version of this :) LG seems to be this years samsung, they provide excellet LCD screens, and need to put implement better audio and push software update earlier to compete with samsung and HTC
