just to confim guys the white s3 16gb will only be available form vodafone. Just waint for delivery on the others

AnonD-8685, 29 May 2012Considering every review has said that the build quality of... moreHaving handled one for a few days all I can say is it just feels exactly like a big europa or the sort of handset that will collect a myriad of scratches and scuffs over a short time with the average user. Time will of course tell.
I admit I may have gone a bit far with my rant but I was very much looking forward to seeing what samsung would do with this and the design almost appears to be an afterthought. Definitly remeniscent of the silver clamshells I was selling back in 2004 and as I said I'm plain and simple dissappointed.
Apologies if I over qualify my statements, bad habit of mine.

Blue S3 has also been delayed for sometimes in June in NZ and also white is limited number to go around. Surprise that UK only found out one day before the official launch day. We have been told since last week.

Well what a surprise, I guess thats what happens when you encase(and I say this honestly, I work in the industry and have been playing with the SIII for a few days now.) an amazingly built and technologically brilliant handset in very thin "hyperglaze" PLASTIC.
You remember PLASTIC right?
That stuff that gets warped when exposed to warm temperatures?
Why would Samsung put such an awesome(and expensive to replace)piece of kit in such flimsy housing?(The answer is possibly in the question there.)
Its like carrying your laptop around in a shopping bag.
And what happened to the possibilty of making the internals water resistant like the Panasonic Eluga and future Nokia Lumia and Pureview models? Am I right in recalling that Samsung aqcuired a company that did just that recently? And demoed an SII working in a fish tank about 4 months ago?
So a flimsy case, a non splash proof, very expensive phone that if I'm honest isnt that pretty and the nature sounds will drive you nuts.
Yes its the best out there right now by quite a ways but I just cant bring myself to like it.
I have a 4s right now, hold your horses trolls. The last thing I am is any sort of fanboy, I have it simply because I like it, I hope thats enough to avoid silly comments.
I love the SII, its still an amazing design even though its plasticky.
With HTC doing amazing design and engineering on thier flagships(ONE S, ONE X)to make them amazing to use and awesomely robust and Nokia as well having made great leaps in the design of the high end Lumias to make sure all that lovely tech is kept safe, my hope was that Samsung would follow suit and produce something that really was a massive leap forward in ALL respects.
In all honesty Im a tad dissapointed.

i am not surpirsed, the demand for this phone has been huge. samsung have done a good job to be able to launch it in as many countries as they have
