samsung would need to get there finger out ..apples world conference coming on 11 june ..you might get a lot of people cancel the samsung s3 ,s and wait on the dreaed iphone 5...why are we waiting...........

Don't normally comment on things,but p*ssed off with samsung.How can they let 600,000 faulty panels through there fingers,were is quality control?No mobile phone now until they get there act together,sold my s2 before the value starts to plummit.That's my moan over,for now anyway.

I had hands on with it for all of about 6 minutes yesterday..It is very very nice so slim and not as big as you think..It is like a pebble smooth in both feeling and operation..I got to test loudspeaker which is very crystal clear treble.I really like it in white which was the colour they had and only one unit to show round a crowd of 20+ people waiting to try it..
I have to be honest i checked it was on full brighness and held it next to a one X and it was slightly dimmer,,also the one x looks a lot bigger than SGS3..Its as if they built the SGS3 motherboard then shrunk wrap a plastic shrink wrap around it and made the shape that way.This is how the got it a slim as possible..The home button is spot on..
I am waiting for pay as you go and they said(Three network UK) that they would be using all their first stock for contracts and could NOT give me a time when PAYG would be avilable..May go sim free route unless PAYG is significantly cheaper..

i believe we are being had. This is just a way of Samsung making scarcity just like Apple always intentionally do on their launches. Supply and demand. No supply, more demand, more hype.

As much as I appreciate Samsung making sure everything is spot on for the customer I would much rather have had my GS3 delivered tomorrow then eventually made my way to a VF shop and have the battery cover replaced to the correct shade.
Oh well, few weeks wait extra it is.

Cut the crap and release the damn phone already, samsung! I pre-ordered the pebble blue, was really excited about it and now, this?!? I don't give a crap about the freakin' blue-white-pebble-marble colors and I also don't give a crap if you give me a yellow starfish, black octopus ink, green seaweed or orange clownfish colored S3, I won't wait for another 2-3 weeks! I want it now!!!

hmmm why does it sound like another gimmick to creat hype for the blue variant while backing it with scarce availability... hmmm may be its due to the strategies adopted by the Samsung and the apple marketing teams :p...

This is incorrect. The back of the GS3 Pebble Blue was milled a couple mill to small and does not fit. Also none of the accessories which require connection to the handset are also a couple mill too small. (cases, docks, vehicle docks) The CAD file for the case was also sent to the likes of Casemate and Belkin. Expect a big delay in seeing Galaxy S 3 accessories.

As much as there are things to gripe about with this phone, the S3 has some of the best sound codecs and drivers available and good volume on the speaker. Its definitely at the higher end of the sound quality scale.

Wow, a "newly invented blue colour"? Did they patent it? I've never heard of "blue colour" before. Then Apple can patent, hmmm, a "newly invented white colour" and they can keep suing each other into oblivion.
