As long as i can use my phone i dont give a damn about windows 8 upgrade to Current Lumia range
because
when sgs2 was upgraded to ICS, SGS2 died
when Xperia X10 was upgraded to Gingerbread, X10 died
When iphone 3gs was upgraded to ios 4, 3gs died
so no point in squeezing a cow into a bottle
when one year is over for Lumia 900, Long live ebay will sell it to someone and will get another top of the range WP8
STOP Moaning and get a bloody life
Single core lumia 900 is much faster and better than a quad core Android

Thank God i dont have this piece of shit OS...and NOKIA what hell are you doing with Microsoft. its time to re-think..... try Android ..best OS on BEST Hardware...how cooool it would be...

So practically Nokia sell dead OSes?
N9 = MeeGo is Dead OS when arrived "Intel abandoned it in two days before it released!"
Symbian = Dead OS and will be officially dead in 2015
WP7 = Now officially a Dead OS too
In future you will only blame yourself if bought Nokia again.
Android open source even if the manufacture didn't make an update you will still have customs ROMs.... Now Galaxy S has ICS "Slim ICS Edition" way better than the original ICS.

after 6 months with my WP7 lumia 800 we getting a devoice and going back to my old OS (ANDROID) new phone and ICS..... MICROSOFT what a FAIL, you've let us all down AGAIN... will never buy a microsoft device again.
My Lunia is nothing more tan an unsupported sat/nav, mp3 player and camera.....

Nokia under Elop's management is a misery. Seems they are the movie "Wrong Turn" the time they choose the WP7 and announced abandoning Symbian. Thinking that Symbian users switch to that new OS they were wrong. Symbian users are known many tweaking and hacking techniques. As of me one of Symbian fan before I rather grab Android than that using such WP OS which we knew was just a scrap sooner will be send to garbage can.

Skynda like future WP-phones are bound to run hot.
Had a i900 Omnia with WM6.1, a while back. Just playing mp3s made the phone to run uncomfortable hot in my pocket.

There are only 2 million Lumia users so this news isn't a big deal at all. Compare that to 100+ million Android users who are stuck on Gingerbread.

this is why nokia up0dates are the best because when they update they readily port the new firmware to old devices like belle on s^3 devices...

The failure in this announcement is naming WP7.5 next upgrade to WP7.8 They rather have went with WP8 lite or WP8 refresh for they have not made the public panic about the legacy device. Also, they should integrate skype on WP7.8 for it to be more appealing.
