I had all the samsung previous best smarphones including the Note and Galaxy s 3 and will definitely get this one once it is out. There is no doubt that Samsung makes the best smartphones. Having used my samsung smarphone I don't even want to keep any other phone in my hands more than 20 seconds.

1.5GHz Exynos 5250?? The 5250 was designed to run at 2GHz. Samsung for God's sake please let us have the SoC running at stock speed. NO under-clocking. Ram should also be 2GB

The sammy insider told u that it is inspired by SIII design which in turn is inspired by nature so lets hope for better and a more beautiful inspiration frm Nature

The reduction of width is becasue of the aspect ratio
from 16:10 to 16:9
but not sure if the resolution will be 1920x1080 (like the latest LG screen)

Gosh, just tell me this will come with an Exynos 5250 and a MALI 450 or T-604 GPU and I'm sold (I could be sold even if it doesn't, but this is what I've been eagerly waiting for).

It has a higher specs than the S2, and caters to more to those who need that active digitizer system, like for designers and artists. It ain't your typical premium phone, like S2 or S3. Following the logic that Samsung has done, the next Note would be another jump of specs from the S3, hopefully with a better Wacom digitizer S Pen.
The S Pen has been quite useful and is not a gimmick as some people claim, as they most probably don't do what we need it for.

It looked cheaper because of the size / material (and no, I don't think the GS2 looked cheap, nor the GS3) - but it looked I dunno, a bit basic...
I think they'll remedy it with the Note 2 and I think it'll definitely be my new phone!
