Nokia is not the only player here. Huwai, samsung, etc also manufacturer wp8. Moreover, soon Microsoft will manufacturer their own hardware like the do with tablets surface. So all manufacturers will be dead soon.

Looking forward to the new devices. The Lumia 900 is a nice phone. It's not perfect, but it's certainly one of the sleeker handsets available. With the WP 7.5 OS, it is fast and reliable. But I'm not interested in hanging on to a Lumia 900 with WP8 on the horizon. I'd like to see T-Mobile get a higher-end device like the Lumia 900, since I'm reluctant to leave an awesome plan that I'm currently on. The 710 and Radar 4G are decent phones, but they're too small for me (personally) to use as smartphones everyday. 4" or larger screen is mandatory if I'm using a smartphone. The unlocked Titan 2 I've got is certainly a joy to use for browsing the internet or playing games :)

All of the upcoming wp8 handsets will use the S4 krait SOCs. I hope the nokia lumias will come with a better adreno gpu than the current 225. I wouldn't mind if it were dual or quad-core as long as the battery life is also up to scratch.

Things are going good for Nokia except that MeeGo is no more with them. Microsoft will have their own plan for WP. They will not exclusively be with Nokia for ever. But for Nokia .. what is the PLAN - B???

AnonD-38033, 10 Jul 2012meego is the only way to compete with android Are you serious? Windows Phone 8 can easily compete with Android. Software updates will be easy, just like all Windows Phone are running on latest Windows Phone 7.5. Windows Phone 8 requires security chip and has Secure Boot and BitLocker encrytion. Windows Phone 8 supports processor up to 64 cores.
Imagine this with Windows Phone 8 hardware. Easily can compete with android.

Samsung can't compete with Nokia on Windows Phone 8. Nokia already has tons of exclusive apps for their Lumia Windows Phone and more coming everyday. Samsung can't beat Nokia in call quality, signal reception, build quality, camera (PureView) , audio recording (Rich Audio) and outdoor visibility (Clear Black).

I need Nokia only for best camera lens quality, but other specifications must be from Samsung Galaxy III.
At the moment I choosing between Nokia 808 PureView and Samsung Galaxy III (not bad camera lens compare with undisputed King of the photo - Nokia PureView). But if Nokia Windows 8 smart phone will be available I willing to wait and not to missed opportunity to buy new Nokia Lumia with Windows 8.
I need good camera phone very badly! If takes time long then my first choose Samsung Galaxy III - best smart phone ever our humanity created.

Anonymous, 09 Jul 2012pureview is the only card they have to play now, and honest... moreNokia 808 is for camera enthusiast actually and only for those who can afford it. It's not the real deal though, if you've seen Nokia's WP8 concept of Lumia 920 which i found in youtube, you'll surely be stunned. But that video's quite old now, being released last April.
