The problem here is that really we're in a situation with Nokia which is "all eggs in one basket" - if whatever they announce in September doesn't generate interest / sales - then M$ will no doubt buy them out in the next year or so...
The question here is how bothered are people about such a high-end camera on their phone, at the expense of functionality / flexibility? Bearing in mind the limitations of Winmo 8 - (no customised mp3 ringtones, drag / drop, individual volume levels for things, etc. etc.) - will people move from Android / iOS to this Winmo 8? Foresaking all of their apps just to buy them again (and bearing in mind Winmo apps typical are a lot more expensive than other OS ones..)
I don't know...
They need to design a killer looking phone to really get eyebrows raised... if the curved neon prototypes they showed months ago are any indication... they're doomed...

Are they mad? Why they wouldn't bother to sell a device that already have no future.
I think that Microsoft are plan something like discredit Nokia like this on and on then once Nokia bankrupt they will brought Nokia over and saying that they are helping Nokia as a CSR but in fact MS will get all the necessary license to build their own phone.

If Nokia tries another Lumia 800 ; as they did with Mango then it will be a fail....they should have released Lumia 900 worldwide..once 900 cmae out 800 bcame obselete...so as said Nokia should release a dual core or Quad core s4 pro with Adreno 320 or plus (please don't use 220/225), 4.6 or plus inch AMOLED HD screen, Ploycarbonate , 25 MP PureView sensor ,16GB internal memory , 1GB RAM .....this is my dream specs....hope i can hold this soon :)

pureview is the only card they have to play now, and honestly i doubt it will work cause the 808 is very expensive just because of the sensor and the tech inside, i rather buy a dslr than the 808 so if they don't make it cheaper they wont sell

this may be how Nokia upstage the android and ios phones. this is going to be a super doper phone. just hoping the company will not mess this up.
all Nokia need is to produce a monster phone like apple did iphone and Samsung did the galaxy S.

gd news. hope this will help nokia hold ground a bit longer. Nokia is one of the oldest and it deserves respect. as for me I'll stick to android 4 the time being cz I mostly care abt the os.

Don't tell me WP8 Menu will be almost the same as on the WP7! :P That Menu style is very ugly, I could never buy a Lumia phone.
