Tomorrow they will release a press note saying that everyone got it wrong, there won't be any ICS update to those phones lol.

What about Optimus Pad 3D? No update? it released in the same time when 2x had been released and practically they have the same hardware...
LG please update it! Optimus Pad is laggy tablet with a lot of bugs it needs to be updated at least one! still on the same firmware 3.0 HoneyComb

Most tedious update process E.V.E.R!
Seriously, Sony, Samsung (only if it's a select few), Moto and HTC have all updated devices to ICS and in some cases JB yet LG is still playing merry-go-round.

This is sort of weird since ICS is already available for LG optimus LTE LU6200 months ago and it even has updates from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4.. Anyways, this sure is great news if it were true for 2X and black but the real deal is "WHEN WILL IT BE AVAILABLE?".. 2013 maybe? Good luck LG..

Is it that in LG, the left hand does not know what the right is doing?
LG canada declares something, LG Singapore comes out with something else, LG Global keeps mum.
Whats happenning? Whats the true future for all these phones? Is it that LG India will possibly come out with a different story looking at the volumes in India and their associated glitches expected with these upgrades and call volumes going up? might as well say there will be no ICS in India, much better that way for LG India. who cares for customers anyway? all customers know that LG is very poor as far as support is concerned.

I am waiting for that. My LG P925 with GB goes fine. The battery life is nice for me. I use it in my works day and i have i get 10 hours on using. The unique thing that i miss from it is the USB OTG, supported after ICS. I guest the update for ICS can do it.

I have a LG Prada 3 (contract free) phone purchased in Singapore. Had upgraded it to ICS a month before this announcement was made. And yes, it was wonderful, way better than gingerbread. Hope LG users can be patient while they are testing this software for other devices :-)

x10 came with 1.6 when everyone else (desire) was already coming with 2.1 out of he box, that why they got from 1.6 to 2.3 because they came with an older android to begin with

i own a LG THRILL 3D P925, And recently bought the LG P880 4xx. I love the LG producst. But I must Said LG Development and feedback SUCKS. I wait for almost a year on the Thrill for GINGERBREAD update, When everybody has ICS...Now theyre talking about getting ICS when Jelly Bean is Already OUT.
LG makes great phones but needs to step Up with the Development and offers UPDATE in a respectfull amount of Time. I understand that it takes time and is not a easy task...But Come ON LG.

Similar bad pr ... moreseriously?! are u kidding me? x10? it came with 1.6 and everyone could upgrade to 2.3.3, no other brand made this (the maximum from other brands was from 1.6 to 2.1 or 2.2) and wanted ics in this device? man, theres no comparison between sony and lg...sony updated all their xperia 2011 line plus live with walkman (except play) and you're bitching for what?for updates sony's the best!!!
