It is hoped that devices like this will continue to arrive on the market without the threat of litigation by a certain manufacturer.

What happened to HTC's policy of less phone and more quality. This is very similar to the One S, which I would choose over this. Don't see the point of this phone.

I really like my HTC Desire and I would like to buy any new model with Desire on it but they are all stuck on 5MP camera and 1Ghz CPU what is really disappointing:(
What I like is ICS and display not bigger than 4".

I agree with you from the bottom of my heart.
A sensible, usable phone at last.

A modern version of the late HTC Desire S.

Awin, 28 Aug 2012Yes, is a dual sim phone. check on the photo, you will see ... moreSadly, after some research on google, there's no picture showing the dual sim feature.

Mate, you're totally right. I thought that icon was for SD card removed, but I compared it to other HTC Desire V pictures and it totally makes sense. One card is inserted in a slot but no network and the other one (the first slot) is empty !!! Yeeesssssss !
Finally the phone I've been waiting for since 5 years... I hope they won't take too loo long to release it.
Its features matches with its direct future challenger Galaxy S Duos.
HTC Desire X is in fact Desire double-v (one up on top of the other one upside down). :-)

This seems like a perfect Mid Range Phone.A higher Pixel Density could have been better but desires never stop.Hope the battery life is also good which probably makes it my first HTC Phone. Waiting for it to be launched in India!!..:-)

Unfortunately, according to the first picture (features chart), it does not seem to be a dual-sim( or may be the chinese part says SIM1 and SIM2, in that case it's the perfect challenger to Samsung Galaxy S Duos).
I would like it to be a dual-sim because of the Desire V known as laggy and buggy...
