WVGA video recording only!? It's a dual-core phone! This is a deal breaker to me!

Sweet_Voice14, 28 Aug 2012It's just the same HTC line up with nothing much new but ju... moreReally do question the thought that went into that. Compare it with the One V (same size HTC device) and then tell us again you don't think this is progress.

Compare it with current top small phones.

The combination of the first leaked photos, the new information and the old model (Desire S) makes me to presume that the back side is a cover, which allows for a removable battery. This is furthermore supported by the fact that the micro USB connector is located on the side, a feature very unhandy but related to full aluminium body design such as the Legend and Desire S (Saga)

the chinese website say there will be 16gb of one x, and the new desire x is only cost 10900 taiwanese new dollar, its about £220 and the new 16g one x its cost 19000 in taiwanese new dollar, its about £410 (which doesn't make mush different compare to 32Gb its only £450)

the HTC free sim phone in Taiwan usually will cost slightly more compare to UK, so I am guessing the Desire X might sell around £200, and it didn't mention anything about the due sim, its says the camera is same tech of the one x and one s,

The comparison sheet implies that the HTC Desire X has a removable battery and uses a regular SIM.

This phone ticks many boxes for me.
A 4" screen in 119.5x62.3x9.3 is really good. It is smaller than a Galaxy Ace 2 which only has a 3.8" screen. Smaller than a Galaxy S Advance with the same screen ... I could go on but you get the idea :)
Loving the 768 mb RAM. That really should be the new standard given the space requirements of ICS and JB.

Only off point for me is that the PPI will be a little low (around 233).

Will be great to see the review of this. Well done HTC
Really refreshing to see this amongst the endless huge phones. Looking like a high end small phone. Progress again, nice

The chart did not stated whether it's single or dual-sim and it too did not mentioned there's a front-facing camera, so my guess its not a dual-sim phone and likely to without the 2nd camera too.

The first row states "battery". so it could mean the desire x has removable battery but one x don't...

Very good specs for €300 price tag, too bad that dont have front camera, this probably vil be my new phone.

AnonD-68655, 28 Aug 2012I hope it will be a great success as HTC One X.At last a replacement for the HTC Desire S and dualcore too. Love the fact that HTC phones have beats audio. Not sure why they said the phone is blue. It's black, not sure which one I like black or white. Maybe I will just get both.
Really hope Everything Everywhere take this phone. This will be a big seller.

                            Well done HTC !!

First difference between the 2 states "battery" in direct translation from Chinese. I think it means that the Desire X has a removable battery, but not the One X.

Second difference between the 2 states "microSIM functionality" in direct translation from Chinese.
