Heavy as brick - 160g, small batery, large bezels and poor resolution. What a waste. What a overpriced crap.

I think nokia needs a gud marketing strategy..dey cud hav boast of all de features other phone manufactures boast of..like battery, apps, games, gorgeous graphics, fast network etc.. And den capitalised on de pureview camera..de colours shud have @ least included all de primary colours. For de os, dey cud hav come up with 2..ie symbian os and wp8..and they cud hav named de fons as Lumia 920s ( for symbian os), and Lumia 920w (for wp8 os). We all know dat windows os and viruses are best pals but symbian os are more secured...people like me still prefer symbian os, though slow, but secured and battery efficient....as for droids, gud graphics, apps but battery hungary(not my type)....but de threat now is sept. 12.....anyways I wish nokia gud luck!!!!

Nokia if you're reading this, well done on the Lumia 920. My only fret is if you're going to come up with colours outside of black and white, you should've came up with all the colours from the spectrum of the rainbow. And not just yellow and red. What about people who like blue? At least fill the primary colours?

Now on to the 820. I think Nokia treated this phone like a toy. Why do they want to make it look inferior to the 920? Make a Lumia 620 for that!

Apple has the MacBook Pro and the MacBook Air. The Pro is obviously better spec-ed, but the Air compliments the pro by having lower specs, but a much smaller size and prize, making both products equally attractive.

Nokia should have done similar. The 920 is the full flagship, and the 820 is the smaller,

To each his own. Microsft is no different that other corporations...even Samsung is the same. I'm still waiting for Gingerbread for my Sidekick 4G. They just want you to spend money on new phones.

I do not understand the increase in screen size, what was wrong with the 3.7 inch display? Besides, 4.5" and 4.3" isn't a big difference. I think that they should've stuck to the 3.7" to give consumers a choice whether to pick a smaller phone or a bigger phone.

Now the phone looks totally inferior to the 920, I'd have thought it'd be better if the purpose of this phone would be to compliment the 920.

The 4.5" Lumia 920 will be getting a 1280x768 display. That is 331 PPI.

The 4.3" Lumia 820 will be getting a 800x480 display. That is 216 PPI. If they had stick with the 3.7" they'd have 252 PPI.

What does this means? It means that the 820 holds the record of being the phone with the lowest PPI count, together with the 900.

All I'm saying is. Nokia did well in producing good products, but they don't look all that good together. It's the entire lineup. Just look at Apple, I hate that company but they set benchmarks that others can follow. iPod, iPhone, iPad.

The 820 and 920 does not look good together. Besides the colours, it doesn't even look like it's made by the same company.

After sales service - Very bad, repair turnaround time during warranty period is 20 days
built quality - back cover popped up in 1 month and display falters in 13 months (phone costing INR 16000)

This is my personal exp. with Nokia thould I am still using a Nokia phone.

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2012Hi laggy boy...wipe of ur tears...hold ur fears still...the... more.......OK....it always amazes me how all the window lickers seem to find their way onto this site. As one of the android users this nutter referring to I can tell you that fear is not something I felt when Nokia announced this device.

Actually excitement would be more accurate, I'm glad to see Nokia finally produce something even remotely interesting, and also glad to see windows 8 coming along nicely as a platform.

It will be nice to have a 3rd alternative to android and iOS and I think Nokia's partnership with Microsoft may finally be starting to offer that choice, I look forward to seeing what other Wp8 devices can offer.

Bit disappointed with the camera on this though, after all its not really pureview is it?
