Natu... moreFair point. But Xiaomi stands out from the rest. I think the only ones that come close to them (number wise) are Samsung. But Samsung has better software update policy for its models.
Realme, One Plus, Huawei (even before the ban), Sony, Asus, never released so many models in a single year.
Just look and count how many models Xiaomi released just in 2020 alone and you know what I mean (and I am talking about global models, not Chinese ones).
Like I said, is a wise business strategy for profit, but for customers is not good. For me it feels like I am being cheated. A company like that will never deliver. And up until now, for me anyway, they didn't.

Choosing a different phone brand doesn't really mean anything anymore since (we) the consumers, are fueling this type of corporate slavery in China and other emerging market countries.
Also, some smartphones are built better than others yes, but their durability hasn't changed that much in the decade since they were first introduced. Just look at Android phones using Gorilla Glass from 1st to 6th (current) gen. The glass still cracks easily.
That's just one of the many issues that smartphones are still facing nowadays but I digress and do not want to make this comment a 'wall of text'.

I once bought a Xiaomi Power bank and within 3 months its charging port broke and the Integrated Micro USB went inside the power bank. Low quality chinese brand 😡

Using Xiaomi Pocco X3 . First experience with Xiaomi after samsung and iphone and find it's excellent with respect to it's price, it's Stereo sound system is remarkable. Hardware is good only thing lack is Super amoled display.

I had this original redmi note 4g, Snapdragon 400 🤪
Decided not to buy xiaomi again... But yes hardware of xiaomis is good.

It's not like you're getting anything substantially better by paying a lot more for other brands. I'm pretty sure iPhones and Samsungs have more reliability issues than Xiaomi.

Naturally they will take care of their flagships .. and less for midrange and almost none for the low end devices.. this includes Xiaomi devices.
Personally, this is ok, consider the price of each categories ask for ... And it not fair to just point a finger to Xiaomi alone ...

Never had Xiaomi but i owned 2 budget Huawei phones i used extensively for almost 4 years, models p10 and p20, and never
experienced freeze, sudden restart, overheating or any other glitch. So I'm not so sure why is so many beliefs of poor quality of all Chinese phone manufacturers. And I live in Balkans and cannot expect by default quality of goods that arrived here, like USA or Western Europe.

Well i still hope Huawei will be number one and xiaomi will come after with a one plus nokia and motorola claiming top 5.
Other brands are expensive useless and obsolette.
