If you are a geniune user and want to help others then why don't you tell the truth?Can you explain in what sense this phone is a worth buy?What are the features in this phone that you cannot get in other phones of 20k?HTC One S can be bought at 22k then why to buy this shit?Also the boot-loader of this phone is unlocked.So company will not give any software updates and will not allow you to customize the softwares as per your need.Thank god I did not fall prey to this conspiracy. I am going to buy samsung galaxy s duos.I will never buy intel or xolo handsets. I thank the facebook users and this anonymous user who saved my money.

You can follow those steps and root your phone. But be careful while opening the back cover.One more thing is that you can insert sdCard very easily but you may break your finger/nail while removing it from the microsd card slot.

But the phone's less cost doesnt give anyone rights to waste it by providing pathetic hardware and softwares. It is bussiness and no one can survive in the market by fooling the customers. For mobile companies, 15k may not be a big amount but for users, it is. Intel has failed in big way. They are just fooling the customers by providing good specifications on sheet but their handset doesn't give value for money.Any bad handset can be made good by good service but intel has not done that also. They keep answering that all the problems will be resolved in their upcoming handsets. So xolo x900 users who have spent 17k-22k of their hard earned money, should buy another intel handset and forget the money that they have already spent on x900. Those who can keep buying new handsets every 6 months or every month, should buy intel handsets and those who want to buy phone that last for atleast 2 years, Samsung,htc,apple,nokia,LG,sony and micromax phones are open for you. I would suggest to stay way from intel handsets if you value for your money and dont want to waste it.

This in is one of the failure part on INTEL. This is failed product. My hand set got scarap with in 4days after purchase. Handset will become toooo hot that we cant hold and we cant speak. If we use Internet, Handset will hang in between.

Intel wanted to c... moreAnd those who are comparing this handsets with iphone, please note that apple is providing support for 3G handsets till date. There are many gadgets like iExpander launched for iphone4,4s and iphone5 to double battery life, provide xenon flash and provide sd card to iphone. There are optical zoom lenses available for iphone which provide optical zoom upto 20X. So think before comparing this shit with iphone and samsung.. No one expects from them to provide such gadgets but atleast they can provide software updates and other possible support. If they cant do that also, they can unlock the bootloader and let users do whatever update they want. But intel is just concentrating on upcoming phones. One more thing that I have noted is that the camera quality of all intel inside phones(zte grand in, motorola razr i, xolo x900 and others) is the same. Because intel has used the same codec.And hence camera quality of all intel inside phones is pathetic.Buy any phone with 2MP camera but dont buy intel's 8MP camera.Dont purchase any intel inside phones guys.

Raj, 19 Feb 2013WhyHarry is right...This is a useless phone. Intel wanted to come in mobile market and it came. Those who bought it, have stuck because there are no software updates. Hardware starts giving problem after 2-3 months.You can get repaired your phone after every 2-3 months till 1 year and after that you will have to pay from your pocket. There is signal loss issue in most of the x900 handsets. Battery is low...camera is pathetic. Speakers are low. Though these things donot matter if service provided by lava is good. But here it pathetic service also. On top of that they are not ready to unlock bootloaders and intel is saying that they would stop support for this phone because x500 and other dual core and quad core are coming in the market. The price of this handset is going down so that whatever handsets are in the market, they get sold and intel can just concentrate on upcoming phones. They dont have any plans to support their released/older phones. So go and buy and samsung phone but dont buy any xolo phone.

i bought it two months back, initially i did had some problems with the network which was suddenly dissappeared when i was in roaming and i had to send back my phone to service centre in noida. Now its working fine,
Goods:
1. processor too good, runs apps and videos quickly without getting hang (shows why it is intel), zero buffering time for running videos.
2. good pixel density and ICS updates further add to its value.
3. smooth surfing and downloading even with 2g.
negatives
1. battery too poor and tends to get heated up while working up on multiple application.
2. network signal takes time to catch while travelling (while other phone shows network).
if you can compromise on battery, then surely will be your best buy
