Sure it's smooth! Since it's so old n functionality... With every new launch they invent new things that were introduced on other platforms for years (eg android). Stick to iDevices, they don't require too much brain energy to be operated for basic things...

ur a fanboy, 10 Oct 2012I have used a Nexus 7 and it is smoother than the iPad 3 be... moreDo you have any idea what nonsense you have just said. The ipad smoothness is the best there is.It is no accident that they are calling them lagdroid tablets. No matter how much power they got under the hood still cant match the smoothness and the fluid responses of an ipad.

I don't think that any of the major platforms are without problems.

The thing that is certain is the more fanboys we have the less progress we get. Fanboys always think they are supporting an industry but they generally just stifle progress.

Sad to see so many Android fanboys here. There are some huge flaws on Android. It gets even worse when you evaluate Android as a tablet OS.

AnonD-58527, 10 Oct 20122.2 laggy 2.3.3 still laggy (promises reduce lag) 2.3.4 s... moreI have used a Nexus 7 and it is smoother than the iPad 3 because 2x more powerful GPU compared to iPad 2 is not enough to push 4x more pixels. Which means that home screen scrolling and stuff like that feels laggy on the iPad 3.
