LG Nexus smartphone expected to be announced on October 29

11 October, 2012
It will supposedly be called the Nexus 4 and for some strange reason has just 8GB, non-expandable memory.

"The back says 'with Google' that has raised a few questions, as Nexus phones usually have just the Google logo on the back." - My Nexus S has both Google and Samsung logos on the back, so this is not true...

Are Lg out of their mind ???? They would axe their own foot if they put just 8 GB internal and no external memory !

Can't believe my eyes, today 8 Gigs of memory it's too little, my phone with 16 it's "small". And 6 years ago, a 512 MB memory card (ex. Sony Ericcson W800) was enough to store music, videos and pictures of loved ones, how times change.

Guys if the rumour of 8 GB internal memory becomes true then this will be a joke.

8 GB is for entry-level phones, not for Nexus devices used by many enthusiasts who load many different things into those devices. And I don't care if it has an SD slot or not, 8 GB is just not enough. A serious device today should have at least 16 GB of fast, internal memory.

Owned Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus. Unfortunately I've owned an Optimus 3D as well. I'm saying this because it's probably the worst Android phone I've had my hands on. :| My Nexus is broken, so I'm waiting for the new one. I HOPE it will still be worthy of the Nexus name, which so far, at least for me, have been the best phones ever! I am very disappointed in the LG brand and now a little in Google, because they've chosen them...

So nexus devices are supposed to be 1st in line for OS updates, on the other hand LG devices are always last in line for updates, like 2nd quarter ICS update promise that has never arrived.

To be honest I like this more than my Galaxy Nexus. And damn it's Quadcore Snapdragon S4! Will buy this for sure!

Come on, let's be rational. You cannot believe every single rumor you read. It' simply impossible that the phone will ship with 8MB and no SD slot. If it's true that it has only 8MB, then it will have an SD slot, and I think this would be the best choice to keep the price low. If this is not the case, it is obvious that it will have at least 16MB.

I'm quite sure there will be an 8GB version.

I'm also quite sure that it wont very the only version.

I'm expecting a headline grabbing price for the 8 GB version and then 16 and 32 GB versions for people who want .ore space
