I'm in the arge of buying ipad 4 (16gb wi-fi only) when it release in india...never use an IOS product in my life but used ipod earlier in my life , so I'm well known about the restriction that implemented by apple in their IToys.

I'm looking for web-browsing & reading as the primary requirement and the movie watching secondary requirements....I know the later Ipad sucked due to it's Itunes codec restriction.

Please advise which one to choose; Ipad 4 or Nexus 10 (if this release in india)

My background :-
1. I'm using a mac lion right now & very good at managing Itunes (earlier ipod days in Windows XP) , but don't want to convert each and every piece of video file for ipad if I want to load.

2. I got the cheap Samsung andriod phone which can act as Wi-fi hotspot when I'm in the move and provide 3g Internet when no Wi-fi available.

3.Currently own a Samsung 7-inch android tablet which can Voice /Video call/sms and do the all things 2g/3g network but display is small and I need to do more zoom in/out for browsing and reading stuff....

This is why I need a new big display slab. People please suggest.....

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2012I don't think it will be iPad killer. Because the web page scrolling is Not fluid on Android low resolution and even worse on high resolution. Soon all will have retina-like pixel density or even higher although over a limit it is useless. Then the difference will make the OS quality and app usability having on top Windows Phone, then iOS and at bottom Android; nobody will program practical apps for free in Android market; see the lost fight on desktop platform of Linux. The only reason Apple has so many apps is because the most programmers hope to sell them even for 99 cents but not free.

Is there any downside to getting nexus4/10 from US/UK and using as it is in India. I mean, will there be any network compatibility issues or product warranty/support problem?

hahahaha!!! I think iPad 3 costumers are really unhappy right now, first they was left behind by apple and the new 4th gen iPad and now the 4th gen iPad will be left behind this freaking awesome monster with low cost and hi specs, well done Google!

I love to get my hands on any Nexus device, specially the Nexus 10. But not having a memory cardslot always holds me back.
Hope one day Google would put a cardslot in one of their devices
